I didn’t notice the spelling. LOL Funny, you can post with a southern accent. ;)

I could have written that book. Some of those words I’ve never used but quite a few I have! When I saw the word ‘ary’, I just have to share this one!

Please understand my husband did not use English like this but one of his cute little sweet, lovey sayings to me was this: “Did you know that you’re gooder than ary angel?” Maybe I had prepared a favorite of his for dinner or just some other little thing he would always say that. I love it more now than then....There are other sayings too! Unimportant to someone else, but very important to me...LOL!
He was a very funny and loving guy!

(((Yorkie)))
I feel your frustrating. I don't know why my roses won't bloom but I suspect something is munching on them. I have voles in the garden beds doing damage too. Can you replant any of the geraniums or did they damage them too badly?

I will see you all later if you're here. I must go and get a shower and clean up some paper work before I leave the house!

And many of them are here at Amy's Place!

Awwwww, Gee Bee - they pulled all but one plant out by the roots, and ATE every one of them! I just have some stems and potting soil all over the yard - nothing at all salvagable! The one they didn’t pull out has only one leaf left - it may make it - but if it does, I am sure they will come back and ‘take’ it!

There are some benefits to living in an isolated area - but there are frustrations, too.

We just had five minutes of down-pour. First rain we have had in months - and it only lasted five minutes! The critters are going crazy because they have no water.

Like you say ‘only a mother could love’....

Another funny! No, we did not make fun of ugly people! BUT!
If we did see someone that was very, very ugly, he would say “Man, they were born ugly and then a tractor trailer hit’em in the face.” That was cruel. I told you he was funny! He’s going to come back and haunt me. Its all in fun and he would be laughing if he knew.

Ohhh, skydiving is DEFINITELY not on my list of things to do before I die. LOL It is fun to watch, but TV is the only place I've ever gotten to see them. I am so not a dare devil, and that just looks so dangerous, especially for one who doesn't like heights anyway. :)

I'm so glad you enjoy the music I post with the openings. Thank *you*, GeeBee!

Now why am I not surprised that you are enjoying today's opening? LOL

It's from the album he released in March - it sounds like you were never able to find it in your stores. I like every song on the album - some way more than others, but the ones I sometimes skipped over have begun to grow on me. :)

Besides "Nineteen", which is very moving, he has a standout love ballad on "The Distance". I hope you happen to run across the album sometime and buy it. :)

Fond memories are great!
That young jay came back as I was posting..already has the tube feeder figured out well..They are BIG birds so it is trickier for them..
Cardinal youngsters are so drab and have funny faces, too. I am accustomed to them...but this is my first jay youngster.

Beautiful! Thanks yorkie! :)

I’ve been happy to see Monarch butterflies around and only just in the recent days.

It's fun to watch them, Billie. We can actually hear as the plane slows and then hear their shoots open and start looking for them. Definitely, not on my list to do either. I think it's awesome President Bush Sr. does it each birthday. :)

Believe it or not I use to fly a Cessna plane, many, many, many..... years ago. I quit due to a few incidences. Not my fault. Just reality of weather and turbulence etc. It was fun. I was much younger and definitely braver than now. :)

Oh no, That is such a bummer Yorkie
I love nature and critter here too but it can drive us nuts sometimes too. Last year, I had a party here. I was so pleased to see most plants budding up, just in time. Sure enough, the deer came right before that party and gone were those blooms.

I heard there are areas with no rain. I hope you get more very soon. That is very frustrating!

I haven’t seen a Monarch, yet - but yesterday, a very large (totally yellow) butterfly came by to say, “Hello”. It was a breath-taking moment.

Sometimes I pretend that butterflies are ‘loved ones who have passed’, and they just come by to give us a greeting.

I searched for a graphic of him humbly letting the tears flow down his cheeks, but no luck. Here is a you tube clip of him last night, AND of the tears after the first performance.

I do open a lot of YouTube videos - many of the songs I post with my openings come from YouTube videos because I can let them download while I do other things, and then convert them to mp3's - especially if it's a song I want to keep. :)

Looked yesterday for his Tuesday night performance but "Make You Feel My Love" wasn't there. I had recorded the show and pulled his performance out, converted to mp3 and uploaded. I posted the link here and pinged a few. I'm not sure it's not even BETTER just hearing him! I left the judges' comments in my link. :)

That is such a lovely thought re: loved ones. I will always think of this now, when I see a butterfly.

A few years back I took my kids for a ride to the beach, around Sept., and Monarchs were gathering to migrate and there were 100s of them. What a great surprise. I had no idea they did this. Such an amazing sight to see.

LOL!!

I was reading a bird behavior book. What is amazing about the Jays, other than the hierarchy they have, is they all have one identifying marking so they can tell each other apart. I miss them. We had so many visiting at the other house for peanuts daily. A few here but it's not the same experience.
