She was beaming this morning. She usually does okay but not great. She was one of about ten in her class of 34 that received the gold medal.

She does better in the arts .... singing, dancing, art and acting. She really has to work on reading. After many long nights spent on math, I think she finally GOT it!

Kobe enters 6th grade in a few weeks and I dread this...

Today's puzzles are not only straining my brain but OH My poor eyes.

I understand there will be changes this year. It will be interesting to see what is in store.

The school day will end at 2:30 instead of 3:15. Last year, PE for all students was from 2:30 until 3:15. This year, PE must be taken between 8:00 and 2:00.

Also, all students enrolled in the afterschool program will receive teacher help with homework for the first hour. Last year, older students helped younger students. There were times, the older student didn’t know the subject.

This year could be interesting. LOL
