Its a wonderful thing to do, especially if you can sing. Hubby could sing really well but only in the bathroom when he was shaving, etc. and in the shower. They always tried to get him to sing in the choir at church but he never would. He was a loud mouth at times and a big cut up but shy when it came to singing in front of people. He sang in the high school chorus and that was it! LOL! But he sure did love the Lord!

I just saw a report about that on Fox and was wondering if any of our friends was close to it. Looks pretty bad from your back door! Those fires out there are nearly a constant thing, aren’t they? Hope no homes are lost, I haven’t heard the complete story!

I can smell the smoke, JC, but the actual fire is about ten miles away, I think - and we are having very little wind

I’ve got the police/fire scanner on - but nothing, yet. It is REALLY smokin’. Some truckers were talking on CB’s saying the smoke from the fire is making it hard to see accross the street in Flagstaff

Ms.B, it looks like a huge fire - but it is in the wilderness - so there is no danger here (yet)

My compressor on my A/C stopped working..I heard a loud hum and it will not work after giving it a rest....I have a call in to a 24 hour emergency service...Wish me luck. It’s 98 degrees outside.
