Spring 2008 was my last class. Numbers were dropping off, I wasn't making money anymore and was busy with other stuff.

I think you express what many of us feel...Home at last..The reports are that he died and was buried near his plane and therefore was not captured.
This at least may give the family some comfort.

Do you have any motorhome getaways planned?

With weather and work we haven’t gotten out in the motorhome, shame on us. Biting at the bit now, though, and will hit the Cape soon. This year we’ve used it more for power outages than travel!

Are you doing any vacationing this year?

I am greatful that Capt. “Scott” Speicher’s body can finally be laid to rest, and his family can finally close the longest chapter of their lives.

His children never knew their daddy, and are now in college. His wife never gave up hope. May they all now know what a brave hero this special sailor was.

What a lovely lake it looks to be in your picture, Kitty. I bet it is even lovelier in person. I am sure you all will receive many hours of pleasure with the lake. Water is always peaceful for the eyes and mind, I think.

I surely hope this family will have some closure and peace. There has been so many stories through the years that I know its been very tough on these folks. God Bless Them and their son. May he rest in peace forever.
