I used to be little, but not anymore.
Tomorrow I'll get up and walk out the door.
I'm going to school — it's the first time for me
It's great to be big, but I'm scared as can be.

My tummy's in knots. Do you want to know why?
I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe, I'll cry.

When Dad leaves the school and I'm there all alone,
I'm thinking that maybe I'll want to go home.

But wait — Mommy said I'll play lots of new games
and meets lots of friends — I can learn all their names.

The first day of school, oh there's so much to do~
There's painting and books and a big playground, too!

I'm enjoying Taylor Hicks' "The Right Place".
It is perfect since this is THE RIGHT PLACE. :)

We have many here who were not here for the first 2+ years.
We endured many trials to make Amy's Place a place for friends to meet and relax.
When we decided to re-open it last February,
you and Lori spent days working on our Living Room.
No Way will it be changed without a unanimous decision by the four of us.

I also enjoyed posting the Official poems from our very own poets.
They've brought something special for us.
What you, Lori and Wolfie brought here in graphics, they've brought in words.

Love that, yorkie. I still remember my very first day of school and standing outside the classroom crying because I was so scared. My teacher tried to console me by letting me choose which desk I wanted. Gads, I was a crybaby! :)
