Thank you Billie! I usually do a Sunday Scripture....don't know where my mind was but I may do it before the day is over!
I have 3 pots of red geraniums, I do every year and they are doing beautiful. I haven't tried the pink or white but sounds like a great idea!
I am glad Amy is coming back. I figured she would get back last night. Everything was good while she was gone and I hope she will be happy about it! (I know she will)!
Years ago I found one of those Radio Flyer wagons at K-Mart. Mine is a smaller version, about 14 inches long and 7 inches wide. It is so cute. I have never put a pot of flowers in it because I didn't want to get it wet or anything. I have it on the patio and everyone will say "Where in the world did you get that?"

Meg, that frame is perfect with dew drops, and the color matches the blue petunias (or at least they look like petunia’s to me.)
I know you will enjoy having your son and grandson there, this afternoon.

REST IN PEACE, FALLEN BROTHER!
Capt. Matthew C. Freeman, USMC, KIA Afghanistan, 7AUG2009
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
Eternal Father, Strong to Save
Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen brother, amid these who heeded the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!

A Sunday story for Amy’s Place. Get out a hanky. It’s the story of a soldier’s return home.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball
1 pkg. 8oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbs. brown sugar
3/4 cup confectioners sugar
3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Graham crackers
Beat softened cream cheese, butter, & vanilla until creamy. Slowly add sugars until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Place mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap and form into a ball. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll ball in left over mini choc chips. Serve with chocolate graham crackers.
I didn’t have time to find mine, but I looked it up online. This is as close to mine as I can get. Original recipe calls for rolling the ball in chopped nuts, but we like the mini choc chips better.
Also, instead of rolling, I use a deep, small mixing bowl. Put some choc chips in bottom and spoon mixture on top. The chips will spread out/rise with the weight of cream cheese mixture. Keep adding chips around the side and mixture in the middle. When all the mixture is in the small bowl, cover with remaining chips. Refrigerate, and when solid enough, turn out onto plate. Press any loose chips back into mixture and shape with hands. That way, you don’t lose all your mixture sticking to your hands. :) Enjoy!

Thanks Conor! I’m going to try to pay tributes to today’s fallen hero and the two yesterday when I get back from my son’s. There has been so many lost recently, God love them.

Just noticed there are 2 today! That’ll make 4 for yesterday and today. Isn’t it strange that O never mentions the war or our Military men who are fighting everyday! He hates the war...none of us love war but we love our Country. Oh, I get so angry at him sometimes.

John Denver fan here too. I have almost every album he made. My favorite album is “Windsong”. One of my first albums ever by any artist was “An Evening With John Denver”.
The song “The Eagle and the Hawk” still gives me goosebumps after all these years of hearing it.
His double album made not long before his death is very good with some songs I had not heard before. It is called “The Wildlife Concert”. I like “Amazon” which is on that one. It contains the phrase “it is a river of no regret”, John was saying to live your life with no regrets. Good idea. Live life to the fullest with gusto and without fear, etc.
To make John’s death even more sad for me, he died on my birthday. That was one sad birthday. I listened to his albums that night. I bought his biography after he died entitled “Take Me Home”. A very interesting read for all his fans.
I saw him once in concert around 1987. Glad I made that effort, although one rather loud fan down the isle was singing along without regard to those who came to hear John! LOL.
What great music he left the world. People who only have heard his most popular songs on radio are really missing out on what a huge natural talent he was as a songwriter and singer. His pop hits are not my favorites, it’s the deeper songs that I love.
OK, who else out there is a JD fan? Come on...you know you love his music! : )

Hey, jaycee!
It is yummy, but it should definitely come with a warning!
This dessert is delicious and you will find yourself hovering over it and going “Just one more. I’m only going to eat one more and then I’m quitting.”
It’s a nice change from real cheese balls, altho I like those too and I have a killer recipe for real cheese balls.
Had a great Sunday! How bout you?!
