NEW YORK Michael Vick has been conditionally reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Vick can participate without delay in preseason practices, workouts and meetings and can play in the final two preseason games if he can find a team that will sign him.

Washington - are you crazy?
We have Colt Brennan as a back up to Jason Cambell, I think one of the 2 of them will be fine compared to the PR disaster Vick would bring. Dan Snyder is wuss too, he’d never hire Vick.

"Head coach" Terrell Owens says he might be coming here to Buffalo.
DOGS BEWARE! ! ! ! ! !
Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then obviously you feel justice was not served, that the punishment was not appropriate. Perhaps the death penalty would have been more appropriate.
Wow, the guy did his time, paid his debt. So far hasn’t whined one bit or created a Pac Man Jones circus, do we need to mark his forehead for life? Let him play!
Since Vick is from Virginia I have heard on NFL channel along with ESPN that Washington is looking at him.
I was surprised too when I heard Washington, but it seems right since Vick is from Virginia.
There is a fine line that many will dance as they post here..
The question of when is a sport a blood sport and what differentiates an animal-on-animal contest v. a mano-on-mano UFC-like and what does it say about those that watch either?
Is there some gene that drives us in different directions when we view either or is it societal coaching and instruction or abuse?
Ritualized violence has been a part of almost every culture or civilization to date. I doubt we will wipe it out in our stint here..
just some thoughts.
I think that anyone convicted of a felony, should not be allowed to be a role model for young kids. I hope that no team picks him up!
Hmmm...ya got a point there. Aw shucks, that kind of takes the fun out of "Devil's night" in Detroit, hey?
No they don’t. They have agreed to let a football player resume his career after serving the sentence he was given for being convicted in a court of law.
Mr. Vick went to PRISON for nearly two years for killing some dogs (aka, animals).
One of his fellow pro-football players, Donte Stallworth, killed a person (aka, a human being) while driving drunk. He’ll be doing some community service.
It seems to me that the justice system is WAY more out of whack than is the NFL.
Just because he “paid his debt” doen’t stop him being a sub-human scumbag.
Okay.
Well they sports media seems to believe it because to the “Wild Cat” play. At least that is what Mort on ESPN is reporting. Who really knows?
I do know the following teams are not interested in him,
Atlanta, Both New York Teams, and Dallas. All teams have publicly said they are not looking at Vick at all.
IMO, there in
IMO there is
The raiders would be a good bet. Maybe they will have dogfights for the halftime show. Where ever he plays, I hope the fans bark at him, then piss on his leg.
Well I guess we can call the ‘new’ qb:
“Obama Vick Clinton” maybe the WH will hire him to block people trying to get to O’s birth certificate and other things....
