No they don’t. They have agreed to let a football player resume his career after serving the sentence he was given for being convicted in a court of law.

Mr. Vick went to PRISON for nearly two years for killing some dogs (aka, animals).

One of his fellow pro-football players, Donte Stallworth, killed a person (aka, a human being) while driving drunk. He’ll be doing some community service.

It seems to me that the justice system is WAY more out of whack than is the NFL.

Look at the way Stallworth was treated in the Courts, and then tell me that our judicial system is blind justice. B.S. their paid off and most people know this. It's a sad state of our Nation that our politicians and judges are destroying. If it was 1776, then most of these guys would be considered Traitors.

One did it on purpose, for thrills because he enjoyed the suffering of other living beings. It is the fiber of his being that is rotten.

The other did it while under the influence of alcohol, by accident. His judgement is seriously flawed. What millions-earning moron doesn’t think to take a cab?

Does one of these seem worse to you than the other? I hope so.

In addition to what you posted, his loss of income so far is probably over 50 million dollars. I read 125 mil somewhere including endorsements, but that seems awfully high.

That being said, right now Vick is a cash cow for PETA. In addition to legitimate gripes from fans who are sick of hoodlums in sports, PETA will be tub-thumping every time he shows up at a stadium. Any NFL team that signs him will become a traveling circus/freak show.

Now, here's the other problem. Vick is a quarterback. He has a unique skill set. Because of his speed and his maneuverability, he can do things practically no other quarterback can do. Quarterback is a unique position. You build your offense around your QB. Would any team be willing to take the risk on Vick? He burned Atlanta badly. Not many players can come back from a two year layoff in a sport where the average career is around three years.

I'm thinking he'll have to do the toe in the sand thing, and apologize a bunch of times, then some team will "give him a chance" and he'll start out being a specialty back in the Wildcat or something similar while they evaluate his skills.

EGSSACTLY Batman!

I am a huge Browns Fan And I think Stallworth should be tossed out of Football forever.

I know If I had killed a man while driving drunk I would be in a world of Sh!t. But apparently if you are a famous Football player you get a free pass.

Time to start laying the smackdown on these fools and throw the felon's out of the game for good!
