I have a wee tiny suggestion for Free Republic.
Is it at all possible to have a ZOT category, just as for General chat, or smokey back room?
It would be genuinely nice to have a place where the shame of so many trolls could be put on public display!
Thanks Mods!

Yeah, I think everyone’s worn out: end of summer doldrums. We have our vacation the week after next - up to Lake Norman, just north of Charlotte, to a nice big house. My parents-in-law may join us, if a hurricane doesn’t wipe out Ft. Lauderdale first.

"My parents-in-law may join us, if a hurricane doesnt wipe out Ft. Lauderdale first." So I take it they are fans of disaster scenarios. That sounds like a tough decision for them; your place or the debris fields.

If you’re going to live in coastal Florida, you have to learn to love natural disasters ... like Pat.

That’s easy enough as long as you’re not the actual parent.

Well, I like to speak truth.
It’s confounding to so many people.

Afternoon, everyone. We may have a thunderstorm.
I was helping Elen sew cloth bags for a service project, but the sewing machine has gone on strike. I’m not sure what’s wrong with it, but it’s done the same thing in the past, and I don’t remember how I fixed it. Maybe picking it up and shaking it would work.

I have two sewing machines, neither of which work, both of which will cost me $75 + to fix.
A wombat would be welcome about now. ;o]

Do wombats sew?
My Singer is from the late 1970s. Maybe I’ll get a new one for Christmas.
