I was wondering if any doctors here or moms or grannies have any suggestions for "prickly heat."
I don’t know a thing about prickly heat but since you brought up the theater...
Scene in doctor’s waiting room.
Man enters stage right limping and crying loudly.
Straight man on stage says: “Sir, why are you crying?”
Crying man: “I have tomain poisoning, so the doctor cut off my toe.”
Exits left, sobbing loudly.
Another man enters stage right holding his hat tightly against the side of his head and crying loudly.
Straight man on stage says: “Sir, why are you crying?”
Crying man: “I have ear syphilis, so the doctor, he cut off my ear, aaahh!”
Exits left, sobbing loudly.
Straight man on stage starts to exit left very fast saying: “Oh boy, oh boy!”
Nurse on stage says: “Hey, where are you going?”
Straight man turns and says: “I have prickly heat!”
Exits quickly.
Stage to black.
You could drink it and push the ill away for another time.
Or you could use it as a topical solution. It opens pores and lets the gunk out; under the skin.
It’s also good as a windshield wiper fluid additive.
If a baby has it, same applies. Lay the little bugger naked on a pad on floor or in baby bed.

Noxzema is also great for sunburns. I also keep a bottle of aloe vera in the fridge, the cold gel really helps to soothe a mild sunburn.
Thanks. Now Bobby .223 - can you tell us all where we can get some .223? Or 9 mm or anything.
;-)
I have to agree with you on the baking soda.... Also, I have used my husband’s spray stuff that he puts on his athletes food..... Lotrimin (sp), I think... and that helps.... also, if you happen to be a woman, spraying Lotrimin under the breasts helps in the summer time
I have tried both Russian and Polish vodka. I prefer the taste of Poland.
Try a zinc body powder like Gold Bond, there are some other brands that are just as effective but less knows.
It is great for itching and skin fungus.

But, I thought Lotrimin is an anti-fungal . . ..
maybe so, but it sure works for me.... I also have a rash under one arm (it’s hotter than %^& here), and spray that too......
My dad always told me “Don’t be a dumbass.”
I had to settle for the other one.
:0)

Prickly water.
Wodka Wyborowa
Good stuff.
That was from a burlesque called “Sugar Babies” that starred Mickey Rooney, Ann Jillian, and Ann Millers from 1976, or thereabouts.
I realized it might not translate without picturing vaudeville types doing the schtick.
Followed by a milk bath then dredging in seasoned bread crumbs? ;-)
Coke? I will give it a try.
I was having all these fears that I was poisoned by weed killer, psoriasis, chiggers, etc. I looked it up and “prickly heat.” All I could think of was Liz Taylor telling Big Daddy (Burl Ives) that she had prickly heat. I once had to put some chlorine shock in the pool and it is a powder/dust. Well it was hot out and I was sweating - July or August when pools consume chlorine. I had been doing yard work. Some of the dust got on my shins and interacted with the salt (sodium) from the sweat. I am not sure what happens when sodium and chlroine interact but it is not good. Wow did that burn. I could not hose it off fast enough. It took a few seconds. Ouch!
