The UPI article is not a direct quote, but a paraphrase. There is no indication that Obama ever said he was born at Queens' Hospital.

The most likely explanation for this discrepancy is that the author of the article is in error.

Probably none of them. Perhaps at Vancouver General Hospital, or the Salvation Army's Grace Hospital in Vancouver, which primarily served unwed mothers. Not that Stanley Ann was probably unwed, but she did have a most "inconvient" set of circumstances.
