Lin Zongxiu, from the southwestern province of Sichuan, heard in 2008 that soup made with a man’s head could help cure her daughter who had suffered from psychiatric problems for years, the Chengdu Commercial newspaper reported.
Lin and her husband decided to enlist the help of a man in December who knocked unconscious a drunk 76-year-old passer-by before beheading him, the paper claimed.
The couple then gave their 25-year-old daughter soup made from the man’s head, and duck.

You have misunderstood my post. The Great East is embraced by many in the West as a pristine paradise of enlightenment. I was pointing out that the East is as fallen as any other part of the world. Now if you want to go on with your litany of bizarre crimes in the West, I would suggest that you give equal time to the East. That would be fair and balanced.
Well, in that case, I agree with you. There’s barely any place left on the planet right now, where humans can still be considered normal.
And if one were to really examine grotesque murders, I think the East would take the cake any day. Even sterile Singapore has had some nasty incidents in the recent past.
