My oh my, what would the critics, the Civil War publications, publishers, and bloggers do if it weren't for the bad boys of the Confederacy and those who study them and also those who wish to honor their ancestors who fought for the Confederacy?

Au contraire, Non-Sequitur. The United States Government's actions in the Cherokee removal did not involve a program of deliberate genocide. Land-grabbing and relocation, yes, the United States government and United States troops did do that with the removal, there's no doubt. But not genocide. Only your union heroes like like Sherman have a right to the genocidal claim to fame. Or should that be infamy?
Yeah. That whole 'Trail of Tears' thing was an unfortunate misunderstanding. </sarcasm>

A Southern born president acting at the insistence of Southern states using troops made up almost entirely of Southern militia. Am I detecting a pattern here?

Revisionism is very much a Southron trait.
tell us & save everyone the suspense:
WHAT weak/stupid/SELF-serving EXCUSE will you use to try to excuses your KNOWING, hate-FILLED, DAMNyankee LIES???
OR will you simply "slink away", without even saying. "I'm SORRY that i lied to everyone"???
you see, i HAVE read Blackerby's book (whether you have or not) & i KNOW what he said.

I Never said that, I think I made it clear it was the result of wrongful and greedy motives.

Yes. Your misprepresentation of the facts. Like it or not, the Indian Removal Act was passed by the United States Congress, and that involves more than Southern States. And what were they supposed to do, tell the local militia to wait while the feds brought in troops from Minnesota? Please. Interesting how you have absolutely NO COMMENTS WHATSOEVER ABOUT THE GENOCIDAL CAMPAIGN WAGED BY YOUR union "HEROES", which is the actual topic at hand. I'll take that as an admission of defeat and surrender. My sympathies, but know that I forgive you for idolizing proto-nazi genocidal mass-murderers like Sherman. It's not your fault. It's the fault of revionist lie-factories like the Clairmont Institute, and their propagandists like McPherson.
Revisionism is very much a Southron trait.
Oh wow, Non-Sequitur, I guess I missed it where slavery was denied. Please point me to your source...
HALF-truths, "changing the subject", diversions, "out of context" quotes & other dishonest DAMNyankee tactics are his "stock in trade"
NOTHING ever done by any southerner was OK or even acceptable. oth, EVERYTHING ever done by any DAMNyankee extremist/cretin is PERFECT in every way (according to the REVISIONIST, south-HATING leftists of "The DAMNyankee Coven of lunatics, weirdo's, south-HATERS, antisemites, nitwits, VULGAR-talking louts,SELF-important FOOLS & BIGOTS.)
LYING comes as naturally to a DAMNyankee lunatic as slithering comes to a serpent.

LIARS (like you, for example) distrust EVERYONE, as they are DISHONEST clear to the bone marrow.

Wow, I’m so glad that we connected slavery to the North and genocide with that wisp of the keyboard...
Poor Squattie, the dim-witted Lost Cause Loser. You take a month off to reflect only to come back as completely full of crap as ever.
You’ve only been here a matter of a few hours and you’ve already picked squabbles with a half-dozen FReepers. It looks for all the world like you’ve gone rabid Squattie!
Maybe you need another time-out...
I am SO glad you brought that up. Slavery existed under the US Gov't FAR longer than it did under the Confederates. AND let's not forget that slave states fought for the "union" against the Confederacy, and were the very last to give up their slaves. No wisp of the keyboard, my friend, just simple history.
Oh, and Squattie, don’t you still have an obligation to fulfill?

laughing AT you, as MOST FReepers constantly do.

Well, seeing as how every day is “opposite day” in SquattieLand, I’ll take that as a compliment.
you're a SICK JOKE to most of the people who bother to read your nonsense.
laughing AT you.

as i said earlier , i do NOT respond well to blackmail AND it remains "none of your business", FOOL.
laughing AT you.
And bless your little heart too! Squattie thoughtfully included me a long ways back up the trail. It seems that for some, once type-cast it’s darn difficult to sway opinion one way or the other.
If one is as pig-headed and short-sighted as Squattie it’s a near impossibility.
Thanks for your concern!
Can't answer the question, can you. Coward or Yankee? Same thing? 300,000 died in blue to persevere this perverted Union for 21st century collectivism. That is the REAL lost cause. What a waste - just like you.
The Lincoln memorial, you know the DC site that "aroused" you when you visited it, remember? I have a little secret, the grotesque Lincoln figure sitting on a throne; he is actually sitting on a US Constitution - bespoiling it.
And I am so glad yu pointedout it was Confederates who seceeded to promote and keep slavery and it ws the north tht fought to end it
wow, the way you glossed over how MOREE Black men fought against slavery than fought fo slavery...that is telling,t oo
