I was importing a cd and the disk disintagrated inside my computer. It there any change the drive can be saved?
No suggestions but I did see this on mythbusters. Good thing you aren’t made of ballistics gel.

Get a new disc drive. They are cheap enough.
If not, the CD drive comes apart easily. Of course, you'll void the warranty if there's any left. But, it's just a half-dozen or so screws holding it together. Not that big of a deal to disassemble, remove the fractured CD and reassemble.
Stop buying CDs made in China.

You need: a small knife blade and a standard paper clip.
Unbend one wing of the paper clip so you have a straight 1” piece of wire. On the front of the drive you’ll see a little hole. Poke the straightened part of the paper clip straight and level into that hole. You don’t have to kill it, just exert mild pressure, about 1/4-3/8” in. You should be able to get the knife *gently* under the disk tray and pull the drawer out. You can do this with power off or on, though hopefully the LED on the front of the CD is off. If the LED won’t turn off, power down the computer.
Gather all the pieces of the CD together and see if the make a complete circle, LOL. If not, push the drawer back in, repeat the paper clip deal, and see if you can get any more pieces out.
Do NOT try to glue or tape the CD back together!!
The likelihood is that the read head is damaged. You won’t know until you’ve removed the player from the PC, disassembled the player, removed all traces of the CD, reassembled the player, and replaced it into the PC. It may work and it may give you faulty reads too.
Like Blood of Tyrants said - just buy a new player...
If it ate one CD, chances are it will eat the next one too. Replace it.
