Postponement Problems
We have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function. Romans 12:4
Many of us struggle with thempostponement problems. A professor at the University of Calgary in Alberta studied the problem of procrastination for 5 years and reported that 95 percent of us put off doing one thing or another. One estimate showed that Americans lose approximately $400 million a year by putting off filing taxes! Because of fear of failure or other insecurities, we wait and wait before starting a project or making a decision.
Procrastination is a problem in the church too. Many of us postpone serving God. We know we should reach out to others, but we feel insecure or worried about what to do. Because were unsure of our gifts or interests, we put off our involvement in the church. We worry, What if I do a poor job? What if I find out I cant even do it?
Romans 12 gives us some encouragement. Serving starts with presenting ourselves to God as a living sacrifice (v.1). Pray and give yourself anew to the Lord and His work. Then look around at what others are doing in your church and ask if you can join in. Start small if you need to, and try a number of things.
Your church needs you. Ask God to help you overcome your postponement problems.
Dont put off for tomorrow
What you can do today;
Postponement may bring sorrow,
Prompt action is the way. Hess

My Muse
To you the heartfelt thanks so true
for the trust and gentled hand to try
Helping me to set my thoughts to fly
I give humbled love for all you do
Though you are not here to guide me on
still I venture forth with a new song
On the winds of chance fear not wrong
for the trust of my muse greets my dawn
Like a soft hand to guide my thoughts so
your touch is still there in memory soft
And to your gift in honor my work is loft
like an arrow set free from on Life’s bow

Good morning, Kitty Mittens.
Thank you for remembering me in your prayers last night.
I'm feeling better this morning.
I think my body needs to adjust to summer vacation.
Seems that I have been on the run since before the last day of school.
Hope you are having a fun week.
Have a Happy Warm Fuzzy Wednesday.

Good Morning Amy! Ladybugs are darling. I liked the one you posted! I gathered quite a few during the past few days!
Re: my shopping, guess what? Everything fit! Just finished trying on in case I needed to take something back. Thats unusual because generally something will be wrong. Its been a long time since I’ve shopped as I haven’t felt like doing that much walking.
Hope you have a very nice day and keep feeling better!

Precious dog graphic and poem!
Speaking of a dog’s cold nose, our Vet always told us a warm nose means a temperature! Have you heard that?
That dog you posted has sparkly eyes and shiny nose and looks very healthy!
