As one who is suffering from Kidney Failure, I take great offense to Wanda Sykes joke of hoping that Rush suffers from Kidney Failure!
I can tell you, I would not wish this crap on my worst enemy, you have to sit on a dialysis machine for 4 hours a day, 3 days a week. You pray that you can find a new Kidney(living donor or someone who dies) because there is usually a 5 year wait and the side effects are just a major pain in the butt, but for some reason and full of hate both Obama and Sykes believe this is funny.
Sykes seems to forget that Obama by his own admission is a junkie as well, doing drugs in his youth and college because of his bi-racial background and stress as he claimed in his book. Obama is currently has an addiction to cigarettes him and seems either unwilling or unable to break the habit as most former junkies take up smoking to calm their nerves from the lost of their favor drug of choice.
Sykes herself is from the inner city of Washington D.C. and rumor has it that she has had her own problems with drug addiction and as part of the new hate-filled Gay Mafia that has seem to crop up as of late.
In the next couple of days you will see Sykes come out and claim she did not mean to offend those of us, who are or have suffered from Kidney Failure, if the bitch wants to impress me she should donate one of her Kidneys.
They think the Special Olympics is a laugh riot, as well. Prayers for your health, sir.
Me wonders...IFF'n a white person made the SAME (yuck yuck) "joke" about Obammy...IF the FBI, CIA and the Chicago MOB would show up for hours and hours and hours on interrogation???

Genes? Is that what your doctors have told you? I know that Polycystic Kidney Disease is also an important cause of CRF.Don't know if that's inherited or not.No need to respond if you don't want to,TBM,this is pretty personal stuff that you might not want to reveal to me or others on FR...or elsewhere.

No problem, I was going to donate a kidney to my father at 19, but the doctors forbid me from doing so, stating that the likelyhood would be I would need both and suffer the same thing.
Hmmmm.....interesting.And sad too.Well,as I suspect you know,medical science has made huge strides in organ transplantation in recent times so it may well be that your biggest hurdle is to find a "good" donor.I hope you live near a hospital that does lots of transplants.I say this because,like many other things in medicine,the more transplants a hospital and surgeon do the higher the success rate.
Just my 2 cents' worth.
