Mia Farrow has ended her hunger strike to show solidarity with the people of the war-hit Darfur region of Sudan, because of "health concerns". In a statement posted on her website the 64-year-old said: "I have been instructed by my doctor to stop my fast immediately due to health concerns." The actress fasted for 12 days over the Sudanese government's decision to expel foreign aid agencies. On Friday entrepreneur Richard Branson took over Farrow's hunger strike.

Branson took over? So, it’s like a traveling hunger strike now? Like when you go to one home for appetizers, another home for the salad, another home for the main course, another home for the dessert and another home for after dinner drinks?

Lets start a hunger strike relay against Obama. I’ve got the 1230 - 1235 slot covered. Who is next?

I hope she doesn’t switch from fasting to tanis root smoothies.

‘Cause that would be bad.

I’ve been on a hunger strike since lunch!

And I will not stop until Obama is Impeached, or dinner time.

She’s having a hunger strike under a doctor’s supervision? Is that how the people in Darfur do it?

Hey, Mia, no one cared. In fact, I did not know you were on some strike or even knew you still existed.

But you finked/faked out when you realized that because you found your excuse in a doctor.

“Branson took over?”

Okay...so he stopped eating. Did he stop drinking? I bet not.

It would take a lot longer than twelve days for my doctor to get concerned. hmmm those CocoaKrispies were good.

I'll take 10:30-11:00 pm.

She could always chop off her hair in a snit like she did when she wasn’t invited to Frank Sinatra’s 50th birthday party.

Excellent thinking.

I’ll take the 1235 - 1240 slot.

I’ll have some ice cream waiting to cover my hunger.

Mia Farrow has ended her hunger strike to show solidarity with the people of the war-hit Darfur region of Sudan, because...

... she was really, really hungry.
... no one knew where Darfur was.
... no one cared why she was looking for attention.
... reporters kept asking her how Soon-Yi was doing.
... she found her photo under the headline "Whatever Happened to...?"

Isn’t haveing “heath concerns” the point of a hunger strik? I mean, isn’t it to show you’re so committed you would die for your cause?

Branson is probably drinking piña coladas or something similar. Therefore, he will never die of hunger.

For your next intimate apartment encounter, I recommend Dilled Darfur and Pepper Garlic Salmon spreads. They're mahvelous on crispy Stone Wheat crackers.

Don't forget the white wine and the Woody Allen rental movie.
