When I look at what the Bible says about the end times, I often wonder, like most people, how it could come about. While many have their understandings of the scenarios in the Scriptures, I can see something similar to this happening. It has been pointed out by many theologians that nowhere in the Scriptures can they see any scenario where the United States of America plays a role.

That being said, we are the most powerful country this world has ever known. With the ascension of the Socialists to power it is just a matter of time before our dominant economic status in the world is diminished. However we still have the most advanced and powerful military on this planet. Something has to diminish our ability to stop the inevitable anti-Christ from gaining power in Europe.

I can see one of a number of scenarios that the author suggests as the cause of our military being reduced to a mere collection of rogue nuclear states like some of the former Eastern block countries. It could be that the anti-Christ would play these separate countries against each other in an Armageddon type end of the world war situation.

!

Just sayings is all, "It could happen"

Southern and Southwestern VA would definitely join with the Southern/Mountain regions.

That sheet don't fly in Texas.

We'll bail out because y'all suck and the antichrist is welcome to give us his best shot, too.

We'll roll that sucker for his money and then hang him in a tree.

Sad... if the idiot socialists kept the federal system going they could have their way in their own states. We, the capitalists, would be perfectly happy to live in the same nation with idiot socialists screwing up their own states as long as they kept their grubby paws off our states.

So how does the map break out? Are the Blue states Liberal, the Red states Conservative ... what would the Green states be?

would you think Co, Nev. Ut.nor Kentucky would go with the west/east coast? I would think they are more conservative.

Just consider that the United States is an amalgam of the Roman Empire states, the Eastern Kingdoms, the Southern Kingdoms, and it could just be that we’re covered under the “Revived Roman Empire.” Mostly it applies to the world view from a statist point of view, as opposed to the theocratic viewpoint Christians possess. In the present world view, the State provides everything. When the Church departs, so will all those who hold the view that God does.

"The Future Break Up of the United States of America"

A bit hysterical today aren't we?

That is very close to my view. I would add that the NE might actually merge with the liberal parts of eastern Canada, while we take the central west - all the way up to Alaska.

Hard to imagine NC going with NY. Or even ND going with NY.

50 Year-Old Cartoon Eerily Predicts The Future
Video
RightBias.com
May 4, 2009

The more things change, the more they remain the same, as shown by this video produced 50 years ago. Dr. Utopia promises the world - just give away your freedom and the government will take care of you forever.

It didn’t work then but learning from history is not allowed in our new ‘Dr. Utopia’s’ prescription for changing America.

Last portion of cartoon is especially prescient.

Looking at this map? I think more would go south at the county level in some of those green states.

I really think that “the AntiChrist” as a discreet phenomenon is Islam.

It only happens when states start refusing orders from Washington. But theoretically, all that does is return us to a 10th Ammendment America, which is to say, America as it is supposed to work.

From the article:

They will muzzle politically incorrect speech and Christian proselytizing,

In progress, fairness doctrine

subvert and brainwash our children with state approved text books and school programs and

Done

use national media for political and social propaganda.

Done

They will establish unfair tax burdens on the middle class in order to redistribute wealth to the lower class — specifically to those on welfare programs, poor foreign nations and those people who arrived in this nation illegally.

Done

They will irresponsibly expand the money supply to pay increasing budget shortfalls, causing the dollar to lose much of its value.

Partially done

Their socialistic polices will create stagflation or hyper-inflation that will effectively wipe out much of the savings of ten's of millions of people.

Partially done

I agree that we are near hopelessly divided. But since much of these things are already in progress or done, why isn't the secessionist movement father along?

For what you predict there would need to be:

1. some egregious flaunting of the constitution

2. a catastrophic event that changes the fundamental outlook of the majority of the populace where they would put their differences aside for the good of the country.

Possible thoughts for #1 above would be Obambi being ineligible to be president but remains in office or a serious overreach by Congress such as taking everyone’s 401K.

For #2, a serious terrorist attack, much more serious that 911 (nuke or WMD) could renew a belief in America with a new purpose and solidarity.

Based upon the situation today, I just do not see it.
