Cat Lover's Rules:

1. The cat is not allowed in the house.

2. OK, the cat is allowed in the house, but only in certain rooms.

3. Ok, the cat is allowed in all rooms, but must stay off the furniture.

4. The cat can get on the old furniture only.

5. Fine, the cat is allowed on all the furniture, but it is not allowed to sleep with the humans on the bed.

6. The cat can sleep on the bed, but not under the covers or on the pillow.

7. OK, The cat can sleep under the covers and on the pillow by invitation only.

8. Well, ok, the cat can sleep under the covers every night and on the pillow too.

9. Humans must ask permission to sleep under the cover with the cat; only the cat can sleep on the pillow.

Sunday Means Surrender

Sunday means surrender,
To contemplative peace,
From ills and fears, and troubles,
A day to find surcease.

Sunday means relaxing,
My chores can wait a while,
And when it’s time to get them done,
I’ll do it with a smile.

For Sunday means refreshment,
A cup of warming brew,
A chance to make a list of things,
That I don’t need to do.

No need to carry on the spite,
Appealing to some judge,
Much better to give up the task,
Of harboring a grudge.

No need to pack my worries,
And carry them about,
When confidence and patience says,
I know they’ll all work out.

For Sunday means surrender,
And for my heart, release,
A time to look upon these works,
While Sunday brings me peace.

Why thank you, Lady! Yours is too, this one and the first one you posted! And mine this morning was so nice and easy...LOL! Hope you’re enjoying your day. I am waiting for my stuffed peppers to get done...yum...and I fixed some creamed corn...think I will just sorta ‘pig out’! Then I will go running later for about an hour....NOT! I have a hip acting up so can’t run or walk too far. Have appt. with orthopedist Tuesday and I am so afraid.
