To those of you who have pushed me - thank you, Without you I wouldn't have fallen.
To those of you who laughed at me - thank you. Without you I wouldn't have cried.
To those of you who just couldn't love me - thank you. Without you I wouldn't have known real love.
To those of you who hurt my feelings - thank you. Without you I wouldn't have felt them.
To those of you who left me lonely - thank you. Without you I wouldn't have discover myself.
But it is to those of you who thought I couldn't do it It is you I thanked the most Because without you I wouldn't have tried!

Fridays wear a little red
And concentrate inside your head
That our Soldiers World-wide spread
Help to keep you from your dread.

Good one, Lady J!
No baby yet. Can you believe the local hosp doesn’t have a bed open in the maternity ward? Daughter is still at home, waiting for them to call and tell her to come in.
OTOH—I got a day off and actually got most of the house cleaned and went grocery shopping. Feb-May I am so busy at the garden center I just let everything slide. Playing catch up.

A Moment Beyond
The sun touched grass smells of summers time anon
Once the dew evaporates, with the gentle come of dawn
A Tanager sings of life, in liquid crystal clear tones
Beside the stream, racing amid the stepping stones
Oer head the willow, shades a bench in shadowed grace
A quiet spot to contemplate, our oh so hurried pace
Smell the summer scented breeze, eyes closed in peace
You drift upon the moment, as all hurry does but cease
Listen to the wind song in the pines as soft as a caress
Take the time to ponder your life, for you must, it assess
Let slip the confines of your limited conscious thought
And set you soul to lift, up amid all you have wrought

The Pope went on vacation for a few days to visit the rugged mountains of Alaska. He was cruising along the campground in the Pope Mobile when he heard a frantic commotion just at the edge of the woods. He found a helpless Democrat wearing shorts, sandals, a Vote for Obama hat and a Save the Trees shirt. The man was screaming and struggling frantically, thrashing all about and trying to free himself from the grasp of a 10-foot grizzly bear.
As the Pope watched in horror, a group of Republican loggers wearing Go Sarah shirts came racing up. One quickly fired a 44 magnum slug right into the bears chest. The two other men pulled the semiconscious Democrat from the bears grasp. Then using baseball bats, the three loggers finished off the bear. Two of the men dragged the dead grizzly onto the bed of their pickup truck while the other tenderly placed the injured Democrat in the back seat.
As they began to leave, the Pope summoned all of them men over to him. I give you my blessing for your brave actions! he proudly proclaimed. I have heard there was bitter hatred between Republican loggers and Democratic environmental activists, but now Ive seen with my own eyes that this is not true.
As the Pope drove off, one logger asked his buddies, Who the heck was that guy?
Dude, that was the Pope, another replied. Hes in direct contact with Heaven and has access to all wisdom.
Well, the logger said, he may have access to all wisdom, but he doesnt know squat about bear hunting! By the way, is the bait still alive or do we need to go back to Massachusetts and get another one?
