LOL! That’s a fast thinking happy man!
Thanks, Lori. Lately I haven't been having to FIND the cutest, sweetest children - Amy's been sending me lots of wonderful graphics to play with. :)
Of course, I look at everything you create from a graphic creators perspective (which I am pretty sure you do mine), and need to ask; did you add the bubbles and water splashes? Is that a "brush" or a "shape", or a graphic that you layered over the image? There are many shapes available that people have made and put on websites for people who to download who use photoshop - almost every possible shape and brush is available. I have downloaded so many and added them to my program that it takes twice as long to open as it should. But they are fun to play with!
Yes, I added the bubbles and water splashes. PhotoImpactPro doesn't use 'brushes' (I wish I knew a way to use them in my program, but the brushes have a file extension that as far as I know only work in various Photo Software by Adobe. That being the case, I did buy Adobe PhotoShop Elements a couple of years ago so I could download and open fancy brushes and see if there was any way I could incorporate those in PI. I have never gotten the hang of the way Adobe photo software works, but I 'made' some gifs using Adobe brushes, and then could save the gifs in PI. I did experiment with quite a few Adobe brushes and they're so pretty and so easy to use in the right software, but while most "PLUGINS" that work in Adobe will also work in PhotoImpactPro - BRUSHES won't. :(
So, to get back to your question about the bubbles and water splashes - the bubbles are a "stamp" that came with PI. The water splash(es) is actually only one big water splash jpeg that I saved, cut, made more transparent, and pasted, flipped & rotated various parts of it. I have saved the original water splash in PI "images" for any future use! It's a neat splash!
Hi Mozie.. it is a gentle thread of friendship, pets, kids, grandkids, etc. very little politics.. perhaps an occasional rant or graphic. We keep up with each others love life (yea sure), gardens, health, spritual walk, military support big time, poetry & the arts, recipes. Several of the ladies are really skilled with graphic work & it is always wonderful to see their creations & their new skills on display.... etc.
I love it here but dont get here as often as I like.
I owe you an email.
If I am home long enough & able to sit at computer long enough (REALLY ROUGH BACK) and right now I have 200O MUSTS to do for 6 groups for newspaper
It is, indeed! I am probably the only one who would ask that question, and only one of the few who would be interested in knowing all the details of how it was done. That's because we both enjoy playing with our graphic toys. ;-)
Oh sweet Pandy.. I am so sorry about the newest development &know you have my prayers..

Thanks, I will keep the Duck Tour in mind if we ever get back to Massachusetts again. :-)
;^ )
I was thrilled when I happened upon those clothes line puppies. All I could think of was Warm Fuzzy Wednesday.
Thanks Dolly. I know with so many prayers I will get through this too! Hugs & Prayers ~Pandy~
It looks like static electricity....I hope! LOL! That is really one of those “Bad Hair Days”!
LOL
I think someone needs to get some conditioner for that poor child. :)
I have really (REALLY) enjoyed watching your graphics over the past half year (well always) but I love seeing your experiments & your new techniques/effects that you use.. and the evolution of “feel”.. much like what we saw in Picasso(see I am comparing you to a MASTER)
I am embarrassed to report that I have a 24 iMac still in the box after almost 2 months. I might try to set her up tonight..there have been good reasons.
I am sure Mac has some great prograsm (well that is what every one says) for graphics. I will see. I have been transferring all my graphics from external hard drives onton back ups. I cannot believe I have 9 external hard drives almost full(well that would be 4.5 with back up of same).. and we are talking 250 to 500 gig per hard drive... plus what is on the other hard drives on the 4 comuters set up - that is one reason the iMac is not set up.. space. - and my back l limitations of sitting etc.
well just want to say good job! and I do appreciate & enjoy seeing your creations! I hope to soon get back to picking up some new skills with graphics & learning the new iMac programs & to renew my table skills..
My best table skill is still copy/paste
Thanks for the link, Yorkie.
:) ... thanks for the warning. :)
do you remember my fairy thread? It was innocent & sweet but OF COURSE we had to be controlled by the left who will dictate about rainbows & fairies, .. yuk.
There were some of the sweetest graphics posted there & It for me was one of my more enjoyable threads to work on /research
Billie, Kevin Spacey sang those songs in that movie and did a great job. He has never been one of my favorite actors though...don’t know why! I liked him in that ‘Pay It Forward’ with Helen Hunt. Sad movie!
Bobby Darin’s CD has a lot of beautiful songs on it. Just to name a few “Softly as I Leave You”...”Mack the Knife”....”Once in a Lifetime”...”Beyond the Sea”...”Call Me Irresponsible” ....and many many more!
Of course “Splish Splash”.
Cute, cute graphic, Amy! I had some errands and things to do today and have finally found a little time to answer some posts.
The tall building on the right is where I worked on one of the top floors. Photo is taken from the Charles River where the Duck Tour takes you.
Thanks Lori....just found that this morning and it struck me as a little different!
The camera is doing okay, no more than I paid for it. Yes, I finally learned how to get them into the computer and I know how to resize them down. I have posted a few...some last year of the snow and some last summer. The one of the flag and the geraniums I posted a couple of days ago, was one of mine. I took several of the girls the other day in their caps and gowns during our Memorial Day cookout. Don’t have them transferred. I may have posted that flag picture on the Finest...not sure, think so!
Those that I posted a few weeks back of the Tennessee Freeper Picnic were all made with my camera. I posted it on their thread but pinged everyone here at Amy’s.
Good picture, Dave, cute grandson (can only see one) and darling little dog! I have never had a dog that liked my pool! Don’t have any dogs now...but those Shelties hated it.
