LOL! It sure is! But yours is the only 'bird' I'm familiar with! LOL
Speaking of birds, I am so happy to say I saved one's life Saturday. A baby bird, probably just learning to fly and not able to make long flights, had fallen into a small bucket we keep outside, filled with fresh water for the dogs when we go out for a walk. Fortunately the little bird must not have been in the water very long as he was still struggling and very much alive. I lifted him out of the water and dried him carefully with a towel, but he was still shivering so badly that I wrapped a soft, thick sock around him loosely, and laid him just inside a pot of flowers I have on one of the columns in the courtyard. (had to make sure he was protected, and neither of the dogs could reach him) For about an hour I kept checking him, and finally he began to perk up and look very alert. The next time I looked, the sock was empty and no sign of him anywhere close, like he might have fallen. Little bird flew away! I know he did!
Oh, that’s what I want!!!
They look so real, don’t they! Can almost taste them. :)

Conor, thank you for these tributes to our fallen heroes. We owe so much to these young men who give their lives for our country, to keep us free.
THIS foto and frame is awesome! Great colors!
I haven’t had one for years but can still smell them.
Someday I’ll buy a bath tub full.
That’s so pretty, LadyJ.
LOL! I wouldn’t want a bath tub full of Krispy Kremes, but maybe a hand basin full. :)
I would be in the bath tub trying to eat my way out.
That’s a collage I’ve used for years. Originally I was going to animate it but like it better being static.
Wonderful photos!
For a week I’ve been looking for a joke I know I have about a man getting on a bus and noticing a kid with hair like that. He asked the kid something like, “Is that hairdo natural?” to which the kid said, “No.” “Okay, good,” The man said, “I had sex with a rooster about 18 years ago and thought you were my son.”
Try looking for a parrot instead of a rooster. LOL!

What a wonderful and sweet story. I always wonder if the Mama bird comes looking and tries to help it. Hope there wasn’t any cats around....they look for birds constantly!
We will just hope that it got away safely! And you did a very good deed for the week. I would do the same thing...I hate to see a little bird in trouble. Thats why I keep my bird baths filled as they get so thirsty in the hotter weather. Your little bird thought he could reach in
far enough for a drink I bet.
I was watching my little yellow finches drink from the large flower pot ‘saucer’ today. I keep those very small river rock in it. The sparrows bathe in it when I am sitting out there watching. There is nothing sweeter than watching the outside adventures of our critters!
Getting ready to go pick up a Stromboli! Just ate a lilttle package of crackers for lunch and I am now starving.
And wish I had a couple of those K.K. doughnuts you tempted us with!
I like it just as it is, too.
There are no cats around - Roscoe is a hunter of the fiercest kind - he thinks it's his job to keep all cats, birds, horned toads, lizards, rabbits, etc off the premises. That's why I had to make sure baby bird was high enough to be out of his reach, and yet safe in something that he wouldn't "fall" out of, like a tree or shrub.
As you said, it is such fun watching all the little critters as they go about their everyday lives. I just hate to see anything bad happen to any helpless little things.
My husband has a friend who shelters abused horses - he has about a dozen right now. It's hard to imagine how anyone can have any animal and not feed or water them properly. I wish there were stiffer penalties. :(
