Spain is investigating three suspected cases of swine flu in Bilbao, Valencia and Albacete, according to El Mundo. They had visited Mexico.

Suspected case in ISRAEL: While the influenza is generally on decline in Israel, the country’s health minister reported the first suspected case of swine flu in Israel. The patient just returned from Mexico and displayed swine flu symptoms. Imprecise reporting on the flu situation.
Mayor Bloomberg and others are saying the the NYC student cases, and other US cases, are confirmed as swine flu, but they are not saying whether or not it is the new virus from Mexico which contains strains of swine, avian and human flu.

I would not be surprised if this was a “terrorist attack”. Terrorists regard Jews and Christians as pigs, what better to kill them off with than a epidemic named after a pig.
If this is like the 1918 flu, then the only way to prevent this is basic hygene. Washing hands with warm water and soap.
I dont think there is a vaccine for this. Remeber when Ford though we were going to have a outbreak . The vaccine did more damage than the flu did.
This could be a very bad outbreak. Knowledge can be your best weapon.

This is new as I understand it. It is a combination of four strains of flu, two swine (Eurasian and North American) , one avian and one human.

No, your flu shot will not protect you against this new strain. I think it’s important for everyone not to panic at this point. To my knowledge, no one has died from this outside of Mexico. Can anyone confirm that?
Also, the strain that has been confirmed here in the US needs to analyzed and compared to what’s happening in Mexico. Are they the same? The Mexico version is a combo of several types.
The flu shot you got won’t help. Truthfully I’m starting to get some symptoms. I hope it’s all in my head. But being in Houston....
Look in any old cemetery at the grave markers from 1918 to 1919. Entire families were buried on the same day or within days of each other.
People need to get a grip. No one has died in the US or in any other country other than Mexico.
Tamiflu is effective against this flu.

Several people in NY and California have already recovered from this flu and it has been described as mild.
Why is the WH hosting a Press Conference? I continue to believe this is pure distraction by the media/and or WH...I’m trying to figure out what’s happening that they’re trying to distract from.
