I was eleven years old in 1947 and after 40 years in and out of uniform I was called back to active duty at the age of 68 because of my critical MOS and spent my 69th birthday in Iraq with The 189th Blackhawk unit from Helena. When I was discharged in Dec of 2005 to the inactive reserve, I was told that as long as I could pass a flight physical, I would still be subject to call up because of my MOS, I am now 72 and would go back if called. :-) I am not afraid of time, but time is afraid of me.
