For quite some time now, FReepers on both sides of this pit bull issue have been arguing, attacking, & harassing the "other side". What has this accomplished? Unfortunately very little except anger & strife amongst fellow republicans on this message board.
I think it has gotten to the point now where both sides should pretty much be able to concur that this is pointless, as it is unlikely that either side is going to change their mind.
We are all FReepers, and there is no use in turning against each other on any issue. We need to stay united to fight against political policies & laws that democrats are trying to implement.
Can we all agree from this point on, that not only do both sides have a right to post articles about pit bulls, either positive or negative, but that they have a right to discuss their views in their own thread without concern about the "other side" coming in to their thread to harass, attack or annoy them because of their views? (yes, I know that was a run on sentence...LOL!).
Basically, from now on, if you don't agree with the subject of the pit bull thread, either positive or negative, please, please don't go in it. Just let that "side" discuss it amongst themselves. If someone from "the other side" does come in to your thread & try to create trouble, just hit the "report abuse" button, then ignore them. Hopefully then they will get the message. This issue is not worth fighting amongst each other about.
I know that when these disagreements started in each others threads, I said some things that I regret, because that is not the type of person I am, or want to be. For that, I apologize.
So what do you say? Can both sides agree right now that we each have a right to disagree, and finally call a truce?
Thanks!!
Ha! Maybe her mother.
Right on all counts.......good, but I never did understand why religious caucus is put in general chat/new articles etc. I figure if the subject is closed to general discussion it should be under Religion...Can anyone explain this to me?
ARe you buyin’?
Maybe we can all kiss and make up. The haters first.

“What has this accomplished?” Plenty. Lots of money for the FReepathon.
It’s OK to attack other FReepers if it means mo’ money for the FReepathon.
See? Yeah!
The pit bulls should all be fed to my pet Orca ...
A chihuahua can kill a Great Dane. Ive heard they can get stuck in the Danes throat...
LOL funniest one yet...

Perhaps....or, she may be older than she says.
Good!
As my ‘DDD’ sticker on the Hummer indicates, Dogs Deserve Better - than this constant badgering of a specific breed thats routinely abused and killed by ignorant humans for sociapathic pleasures.
Makes me sick.
LOL that is so cute.
You are taking things much too seriously.
Lighten up, it's not really as bad as you think.
Pitbull posters like the fatty McCain posters should have their own separate threads like the religion pushers.
It ain't all fun and games.
The worst large dog breed we have problems with in our practice are Huskies. Nearly all our Husky patients need to be muzzled. I dont blame the breed, though. Huskies need a tremendous amount of exercise. They love to work, and I honestly think that that energy goes elsewhere when they dont get much exercise and are left out in the blazing NC summer heat.
Had a beautiful Red Husky with amber eyes. They also like to dig fox holes in the back yard, eat through a wood snow fence, jump onto a covered pool in winter and sit on the chunks of snow and ice. tear carpeting off the floor and finally when he learned to climb the fence and would be in the front yard before I could run to the front door, sadly we had to give him away to another husky lover that already had one... Could not abide having a dog run around in a subdivision on his own..Never nipped anyone but didn't trust anyone outside of the family and all the kids in the neighborhood.
