ATLANTA, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Barack Hussein Obama is not alone. The 16th President of The United States, Abraham Lincoln, was born a Muslim, says Faruq Masudi, producer and director of the new Islamic movie, Quran Contemporary Connections.
In a casting coup, Abraham Lincoln shares equal footage with luminaries of Islamic history like Saladin, King Faisal of Saudi Arabia and the former President of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed. What do they have in common?
Faruq Masudi said, "According to the Quran, everybody is born a Muslim. It is only by his own free will that a man chooses a different course for himself. In that Abraham Lincoln was not only a born Muslim but he chose to live by Islamic edicts like abolishing organized slavery; establishing equality of all human beings, democracy and accountability to God and Man; core Islamic concepts as propounded in the Holy Quran."
According to the filmmaker, Quran is compatible with American values and is not alien to them. Americans don't have to be afraid of the Quran as it is already playing out daily in their lives. And Muslims don't have to eye Americans with suspicion. According to Masudi, "there is quite a bit of Islam in the West without the Quran and there is little Islam in the East, despite the Quran."
Quran Contemporary Connections places the Quranic themes in modern setting and context. In a deliberate departure from the extremist interpretations, the narrative in the film runs "Allah is not a Muslim specific God; Muslim do not have a monopoly on Him. He is not a Christian God. Christians do not have a monopoly on Him.

The story of Abraham’s Lincolns birth to the unmarried house servant illegitimate daughter of a traveling spinner.
The story is that the Enloe family is from Rutherford County and that Nancy Hanks was an illegitimate daughter of a local woman, Lucy Hanks, who was an itinerant spinner. Nancy, they say, was taken in as a young girl to work in the large Abram Enloe household. The family later moved to Swain County when Nancy became pregnant. When Mrs. Abram Enloe banished the pregnant Nancy Hanks, Ms. Hanks returned to Bostic in Rutherford County and gave birth to little Abe in a cabin on Puzzle Creek. The Bostic claim further asserts that Mr. Enloe arranged for a local sawmill worker, Tom Lincoln, to marry Nancy and head for Kentucky. This story alleges that Tom Lincoln was stocky and low-browed and not very smart, and that one of Mr. Enloe’s legitimate sons, Wesley, looked a lot like the President.

If Lincoln’s grandmother would have been a Muslim, she would have been stoned and Lincoln’s mother never would have been born. If Lincoln’s mother was a Muslim, then she would have been stoned and he never would have been born. And Tom Lincoln, without his arranged marriage, the unborn Abraham Lincoln would have found himself in the same position as our current unborn children, with no “right to life” if he were a Muslim.
For once I agree with the muzzies — everybody IS born a Muslim: crying, needing to be constantly fed and soothed, and no bowel/bladder control.
