Please excuse my accent.
Is that just me or did I get the story wrong? How many war ships do you need and FBI terrorist experts do you need to take over a dead in the water dinghy, 2 pirates and a hostage? OK I realize that the pirates could shoot the hostage.
Ar we going to send salves or shoot the dinghy with a canon? Sorry..I have a hard time not to laugh with that image but seriously...Or send the whole army, planes etc.. to fly around that dinghy? Or negotiate with these morons, knowing that they have no word anyway?
What about sending 2 good divers under the dinghy, pick the butt of the pirates, turn over the dinghy and get the hostage? I sailed for 12 years in dangerous waters...the whole story, I mean since they are in the dinghy, makes me really scratch my head.
Any other suggestions which could help our guys solve that problem? I am a bit lost here.
Again, I am certainly missing something important like - does that incident involves Russia or Iran or nukes or something?
Seems that it is just me..
We have leadership? I didn't know that.
The Mayaguez rescue was a disaster we may even have abandoned three men to their death, I was fresh out of the army and I was shocked at how bad it went.
