Here's all your getting from the bail out!
(and you paid $1,000,000 for each metal, so enjoy!)

Well, my laptop is totally inoperable. Tech department told me my router was gone. I even pushed the reset button - but no luck. So, I am using the desk top instead. (Ten years old - but at least it’s working.)
Today, I am going to chang ISP’s. My computer guy checked the time on my computers, and said that the one (ISP) I am using is the worst one I could get. My time is barely over that on a dial-up.
Hope the new Server will give me a new router. (Cheeta)

I am afraid I must be the bearer of bad news, this morning. (Oh, this is SOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo sad!)
It appears that Walgreen’s has pulled the Obama Chia Head off the shelves. (Dang - there goes all the Christmas presents I was going to buy!)

Observe
The faith of a caterpillar
That never questions “why”.
Behold
What a homely worm
Becomes a butterfly.

A Prayer in Spring... Robert Frost (1915)
Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
Oh, give us pleasure in the orchard white,
Like nothing else by day, like ghosts by night;
And make us happy in the happy bees,
The swarm dilating round the perfect trees.
And make us happy in the darting bird
That suddenly above the bees is heard,
The meteor that thrusts in with needle bill,
And off a blossom in mid air stands still.
For this is love and nothing else is love,
The which it is reserved for God above
To sanctify to what far ends He will,
But which it only needs that we fulfil.

Enchanted mornings burst with surprise intemperate colours lure the clock impatience charges the pulse of the time vigor and passion, ardent eyes resplendent fascination of life rife with interrogation new reasons invented, ornated, aborned in laycinths tell and bight - revelation in holy lilies white majesty. Sloughing off grey fatigue, I blend with blades of grass with seeds bearing fruit without end with shells, mothers of pearls with trees stretching arms up in the light my songs are kites flying high red balloons dancing in the sky pigeons soaring together over the roofs. I am writing letters full of love. Did laughter and I always share the same redolent, promising air?

I guess we better get used to calling each other ‘Comrade’ since there’s no balls in Congress to return to the American way anytime this millennium.

The Dogwood Tree
Anonymous
When Christ was on earth, the dogwood grew
To a towering size with a lovely hue.
Its branches were strong and interwoven
And for Christ's cross its timbers were chosen
Being distressed at the use of the wood
Christ made a promise which still holds good:
“Not ever again shall the dogwood grow
To be large enough for a tree, and so
Slender and twisted it shall always be
With cross-shaped blossoms for all to see.
The petals shall have bloodstains marked brown
And in the blossom's center a thorny crown.
All who see it will think of Me,
Nailed to a cross from a dogwood tree.
Protected and cherished this tree shall be
A reflection to all of My agony.”
***This is a touching and inspiring legend, but there is no Biblical signifance in it.***

When the blanket of the nighttime, Enfolds me in its sleep, All the problems of the daytime, I will pass to God to keep.
I know He can cope better, Than however hard I try, As I try my best to fall asleep And close a weary eye.
And drifting off like magic, Into gentle peaceful dreams, He gives me understanding, Of my life and what it means.
In soporific solitude, My thoughts will slide away, In total preparation For an up and coming day.
And always my last vision, Soft and gentle, very kind.. Is of a tiny lilac butterfly Which comes flitting through my mind.
Caressing every thought I have... Events throughout the day... Its like he's come to wish goodnight, And always he will say...
'We have come to bless you, And keep a watchful eye, We'll always take good care of you, You know....your God, and I'.

I walked into the woodland across a lonely trail I heard the singing of the birds and the flutter of some quail. Then I came upon a stream, the gleaming water was so grand, as I laid back and rested upon a calm and peaceful land.
You could sense the stirring of the animals that were all around and you knew that you could not know this in the midst of a town. It was there that dusk had found me and homeward bound I went knowing that when I have free time this is how I wish it spent.

The Wonder of Spring
Thank you, God, for the flowers
and the pretty butterfly,
and for the puffy clouds afloat
in the blue expanse of sky.
Surely when You made these,
You knew my heart would sing
when I beheld such beauty
in this season that's called Spring.
The winter months have been so cold;
there were no flowers peeping
to cheer my thoughts and fill my eyes --
sometimes I felt like weeping.
But now it seems that everywhere
the world's alive with wonder,
and when I view Your handiwork
I cannot help but ponder:
How did You make this masterpiece?
You must have worked for hours
creating tiny butterflies,
perfecting lovely flowers.
The wonder of Your masterpiece
inspires me now to sing
a glad goodbye to Winter
and a fond hello to Spring.

THE OLD ROCKING CHAIR
I remember Grandma
When I was very small,
sitting in her rocking chair
in the parlor down the hall.
Many hours she spent there
all through her later years,
sharing joyous laughter
or drying little tears.
The chair had been her mothers
and held fond memories,
when Grandma, as a little girl,
had sat upon her knee.
And rocked in that old rocker
held close in loving arms.
Enjoying her mothers singing,
kept safe from any harm.
I also have fond memories
when, as a little boy,
of being held by Grandma
with fondness, love and joy.
Listening to her stories
and songs that she would sing,
caught up in contentment for
the happiness it would bring.
Now that great old rocker
sits idle and unused,
but never known by anyone
to have ever been abused.
When we find in years to come
some memories we can share,
a fondness there will always be
for that grand old rocking chair.
