love your waving palms/Jesus pix! thanks potlatch!
Meg.. tree removal trimming is so expensive. We have a pretty big yard & I have a lot of big trees that have fallen & I let them stay.I had a friend who was kind enough in Nov to TOP a very tall evergreen that was leaning into wires. I had a couple estimates on it & the costs just to top ...not take down all & haul away was between 350 -600.
For friend John,,I took him to dinner & he was happy!
All...enjoyed the cooking conversation. I am amazed at how many young couples do NO cooking..take out or eat out all the time.Dont even make sandwiches. No wonder they need a two income family!
When I got married I really did not know how to cook. My mom was excellent but always shoed me out of kitchen as I was in way & slowed things down.
I recall confiding to my aunt at my wedding about my lack of skills & she asked me if I could read.. and said if I could read & follow directions I could cook. I guess I never saw my mom use a cookbook..just everything in head & automatic/natural. I am now that way but it took a bit to get confidence & enough knowledge to be able to do it.
Had a great visit at a former church this AM. Hadn’t been there for about 5 years. Loved it & people but round trip was 60 miles & too far for active participation, which I like to do.
Did dog walk in big park after..met friend who lived in area.. then lunch & watched the 2nd half of cav’s gave while eating Mexican & sipping margaritas.
Rain comes tonight & snow tomorrow.. YUK!
Hope all are having a great day!
I want this tree gone...it’s a junky elm in the ravine invading my good trees..It will cost me 100 dollars...if the guy returns when I call.
He was sober when he gave me the estimate.
;o)
You took the two images and very expertly combined them.
Thank you Dolly. Have to run and fix dinner now but owe you a letter reply and will get to it.
That is some beautiful (and inspiring) art work, (and teamwork), you two. Thank you both. It is VERY impressive!
Oh my goodness, JC! TWO in one day! Beautiful GLITTERY and color matching (ahem) frames! I cannot tell you how impressed I am, (and jealous.) (((((hugs))))
Breathtaking Nebula..and I “see” what you saw..now tha you have pointed it out.
I must leave your good company...Have a lovely evening..I’ll get back to say goodnight.
.
Good explanation potlatch
It’s so easy for me to do that with the tricky magic button on my circa 2000 WebTV
Teenie weenie letters here (if I knew how to do it...)
I wish I had a tricky magic button...
.
I could see that potlatch’s 2 images would combine together to create a wonderful graphic
Thank you again yorkie!
[Breathtaking Nebula..]
That it is!
Posting both images was the best way to ‘show’ it.
[I wish I had a tricky magic button...]
I do too yorkie!
That is amazing! Very good work...beautiful.
.
The easy part is matching the image sizes and getting parts to line up
The difficult part is determining the exact percentage of each image that will be required to create the final blended graphic
Chow time
I was answering your 627 when I did the small writing and when I finished I was scrolling down to read the rest of the posts and I nearly smacked myself when I saw what you said in your 631...too much!
