I am in Wisconsin the following are goldfinches in their drabber winter plumage...they are returning to bright yellow as we speak)
the gila and roadrunner are from journeys south and west. I'd love to photograph a Phainopepla or Vermilion Flycatcher.

Only one time did I see a roadrunner stalking out my bird feeders. He scrunched down so low, and still, he looked like a rock. He must have stayed like that for five minutes - then he flew up to the feeder - but didn’t have success. (And I was glad. I wouldn’t want to see that!)

Don't forget....I have had my nap! No more naps today! Its almost warm enough to sit outside on the patio but by the time I get through eating, it will have chilled down. Its 6:00 in the evening here.
