Wow! Great close-up of that butterfly, Dave! What kind of camera do you use?

It is very windy here on the high desert, today - winds are gusting up to 45. Birds are hanging onto twigs, wires and branches with their little feet - wishing they had some super-glue.

They just said on tv that we are under a ‘Small Dog Warning’. (IOW, if your little dog is not secured by a chain, you can kiss your doggy good-bye.) LOL!

Thanks. Winds are blowing at 25 mph right now - clear skies. Currently 69 degrees but that wind makes it seem colder.

I use a Canon PowerShot S5 IS. Bought it last year after my Kodak camera bit the dust. It’s got all sorts of “bells and whistles” that I’m still playin around with.

I remember the Kodak Brownie camera. Just aim and shoot. And, I also remember those little cubes with four flash bulbs. LOL! (Hope I'm not telling my age, here!)

Beautiful! That top picture is as good or better than any I have found on Google. And it was interesting you caught it at a distance! I could never get a close up like you did as I tried it with a hummingbird last year! Either I moved or the hummingbird moved at each shot I made! LOL!
