I wanted to wait until I talked with my son, before reporting an update.
DIL is doing much better today - and no fever.
Fire appears to be either out, or fully contained. No smoke today.

Oh, to be a kid again! But 'cept you'd have to go through the teen years and growing up and angsting over your first love and why your parents didn't like him, and all that good stuff. :)
