Are they anything like bluebells? Do bluebonnets emit a fragrance?
Should I encounter a plague like that I would lay down and think of Earth’s beauty.

It’s been a long time since I picked bluebonnets..I may go hunt and see if I can smell a fragrance. One needs to be away from parks and roadways to pick them..They are lupines...and only grow wild in Texas.
One of my last outings with my mother..when she could remember what we were seeing, was to go walking in bluebonnets..
There is a state park near my hometown that has breathtaking fields of Indian paintbrush and bluebonnets.
That makes 4 of us who enjoy Kibran, including me! I enjoyed the flowers telling us about them...they bring us so much beauty and all we have to do is look!
So beautiful!
1782 is for you! Have a wonderful day!
LOL..They were also playing tunnel under the bed covers..Glad you liked the graphic..Those are Alaska wildflowers.
I gave your "hard card" to my DH and he left it sitting on his desk a couple days before putting it in the mail.......so, it will be late. He didn't know it was a birthday card that need to mailed asap. He says to tell you he is sorry. :-(
'Til that card arrives, this will have to do.....
Little one, so close to me,
What a wealth there is to see
In the universe that lies
Opened up before our eyes!
How our hearts with wonder swell!
What glorious tales there are to tell
Of love and hatred, death and birth,
That run their course upon the earth!
Fear and courage. Hope and might.
Living pearls of God we sight.
What fragmentary bits of the long
And awe-inspiring human song
Reach us as we sit and look—
Spread before us like a book!
by Della Gardella
Precious graphic and I love the poem, yorkie! I have got to get upstairs and dress....(I’m ashamed of my looks this morning..LOL!)

The Flowers
The softest gift, the flower be
from the heart, to one like thee
A long stemmed gift to fill the day
a thousand kinds words, so soft to say
Shades of tints and tone, living art
my soul drinks deep, of each a part
God designed, and so He gifts us each
reminding us, we are within his reach
Wind kissed scents, to touch us there
amid our hurts, to lave His sweet care
Each a treasure, and a gift sent in love
each reminds us, of the promise of the Dove
"Six Purple Violets
Hanging in a row
Carrying Good Wishes,
Everywhere they go.
Number One brings Happiness
Number two brings Health,
Number three brings Luck in Love,
Number four brings Wealth.
Number five - Contentment -
Best thing on the list,
Number six brings Everything-
That the rest have missed."
