It is blue-butterfly day here in spring,
And with these sky-flakes down in flurry on flurry
There is more unmixed color on the wing
Than flowers will show for days unless they hurry.
But these are flowers that fly and all but sing:
And now from having ridden out desire
They lie closed over in the wind and cling
Where wheels have freshly sliced the April mire.

You know Meg, I hadn't seen Daffidil's on a hill either before. When I saw that it gave me hope that maybe I can grow some on the slopes of our backyard!
My sister Marilyn, who lost her husband last Friday is doing well. She did say she was doing a lot of remembering and of course those memories bring tears. The children have put together a great video for the service this Saturday. They would have been married 54 years this coming June. LOTS of memories!
My sister Darlene, who is recouping from Breast Surgery is doing alright. Of course she will feel better if she learns that the Lymphnodes were not affected. Will know soon.

“Daffodils” (1804)
I WANDER'D lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the Milky Way,
They stretch’d in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed — and gazed — but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
By William Wordsworth (1770-1850).

How lovely are your pictures! Charleston. S.C. is a wonderful place to visit. I love it there and so much good food there! And a lot of beautiful homes and many things to do. We rode those horse-drawn buggies for a nice ride.

We went to Charleston SC one time and that place is gorgeous. Am wanting to go again this month but it will depend on how our parents are doing with their health issues so will be a last minute thing if we go.
Have been doing research on the area and Middleton Place plantation is one of the places I want to see, Mr. A wants to see the H. L. Hunley. Here is a better view of the lakes Middleton Place
