Experts have been called in to examine the Google ghoul filmed at a former Victorian docklands which has a dark and sinister past. The woman dressed in long skirt, crisp blouse, bow tie, blue boater hat and scarf appears to be shimmering above the pavement. She was captured by the Google Street View cameras in Tiger Bay, Cardiff - the scene of murders and unsolved mysteries going back 200 years. "But what is really strange is that she doesn't appear as a full figure - you can't see all of her."

OK, I’ll bite. I’m not seeing a ghost. Is it near Tom Cruise in the front of the picture?

I hope this isn’t one of those pranks where you look real close and the devil screams at you.

Weird picture. It seems like a screenshot from Sims.

Any image you think is a prank, just right click and if the image says .gif then odds are it is a screamer as those are animated images, jpgs and bmps are not.

That’s not a ghost! That is a gay professor (or Tom Cruise).

It's a composition of two separate photos. Her lower half can be seen in the red circle. Google Street View uses several cameras at different angles to put together a panoramic view.
Using cheap panoramic software, several "ghosts" popped up in my pictures of Ground Zero after rendering...

People really aren’t this dumb, are they? It’s just where the photos were stitched together for Google’s view. The diagonal dark area just under her appears to possibly be one of the other camera angles of her lower half.

Does look like a distortion. Google’s pictures are never very good. This is not intel quality.

Was this really supposed to be a serious post?
I thought is was a silly Friday post.
OK seriously then, the gay professor is merely distorted by the patching of the photos (from different lenses, I guess).

Isn’t that the same cutout that was in three men and a baby?
To: JoeProBono
I have a pic of a “headless horseman”, but it was just a guy that didn’t see the clothesline.
