Everyone please pray for Debbie Byrd, AI Stage Manager. She has been seriously injured at Idol rehearsal and rushed to a local hospital.
Per twitter - One of the big AI rotating balls shorted out and exploded or something. Debbie was knocked off the staircase and fell 20 feet to the stage below. The stage has been badly damaged and there is glass everywhere.
Dress rehearsal was cancelled and the theater cleared. Ryan stayed with Debbie all the way to the ambulance.
Ryan just twittered that the show will go on and what happened will be explained. No word on how they will pull it off with no rehearsal and half a stage.
