Thanks for the great recaps by Billboard and yourself.

You're welcome. I agree with you...they have met their match in Adam. The producers and judges let him get this far even though they threw other people off in the past for violating the AI contract's morals clause. Now, with each passing week that he doesn't get voted off, it will only reinforce Lambert and he'll continue to serve up trashy performances. It's what he's on the show for; why he even auditioned, I believe. He wants to smack middle America right between the eyes with the worst aspects of the gay lifestyle.

Your violation of the rules has been reported as abuse.

Posting of PMs on a thread is against the rules.

I am not the only one here who hopes it gets you booted once and for all.

I gave you your chance, now reap the whirlwind.

For the record, here's what's going on because I know this lightweight stalking will not stop. At this point, I know it's a distraction to others, so I'd like to have it out before the show starts.

I originally came here during Hollywood Week IIRC. I made comments about the singers and helped some of the others by explaining the show or telling what I know of the rules.

The second week I posted, I noticed what I thought were some ridiculous comments and I pointed them out. We'll, that was the end of peace as we know it. Half a dozen others came to the defense of the poor posters I had commented about. Apparently, they were too wounded and could not explain their positions. The others said I was a troll, disruptor etc. God forbid someone would comment about someone else's comment on a FR thread.

There were several attempts to flame me, the moderator was posted to investigate me because I signed up after some woman stopped. A Prince fan IIRC.

The members of the group were also upset because I interrupted their peacful lives of no disagreement (on an opinion thread at that).

Since then, there have been numerous reerences to me and one guy, skateman, told me they were laughing about me via freepmail. Despite being very juvenile, he was in violation of the shunning which had been set up via e-mail the previous week. He continues to buzz around as if he has something to say.

Last night FreeDUMB picked up the gauntlet. She must have not received the shunning instructions because she has picked up the role of inquisitor.

I apologized to silent_jonny last night for some bad things I had said to him. In spite of his Christian beliefs, he ignored the apology which was sincere and publically made on the thread.

Did this stop freeDUMB. Of course not. She even decided to tell me the apology was inadequate, as if she had any standing in the matter.

And now, after stalking all through the show last night and continuing it today, she has sent the freepmail I posted above.

Many things have been and probably will be said about me on this thread, but I wanted to let those who are not clique members know, I am not here to attack anyone personally, but I will respond in kind to attacks.

Done now, in hopes that the nonsense will stop during the show.

I think personal attacks and stalking are also violations. Did you report yourself?

By the way, I posted that threat because I wanted everyone to know what kind of person you really are.

So good to see you back with us. I really do value your critiques since you know what the singing is all about.

So funny about the twins being Idol fans already. After all, they were here with you just before they were born.

What I like about Matt Giraud is that he is low-key, laid back, and way cool. He reminds me of Perry Como, when Perry (and I) were young.

Good luck with your tests, Majie. Hope all goes well. Looks like your new doc is just being very thorough.

From this lurker's perspective (and not a member of any clique), Freedumb2003 tried to make nice, and you shot him/her down. Period. Also, from my perspective (again, a lurker who enjoys reading the AI thread) you started the whole flame war thing a few weeks back.

Your comments were personal attacks instead of comments about your opionions, they were comments attacking the opionions of others who were posting to the thread. Again, from my perspective.

My advice would be for you to shun those who are shunning you. Start over, and try not to slam everyone else who has enjoyed this thread for the past several years.

This lurker would greatly appreciate it if you would simply drop your "woe is me, I'm not guilty of anything, everyone is attacking/shunning me" act and stayed and enjoyed commenting on the actual show instead of the posters on the thread.

It would be a lot more fun (for everyone, yourself included) that way (unless you're just here for the flame wars).

Back in my lurker mode. Feel free to respond, but I won't be. This was a one time attempt at trying to restore civility to my AI enjoyment thread.

That's enough said. :-)

This was just a minor dustup while we wait for tonight's show. A sideshow, if you will.

I wont let anyone interrupt my enjoyment of my friends here and the fun for tonight. The flaming drama on the small screen is plenty of drama for me.

At least Adam is honest and upfront about his sex stuff.

That sneaky little minx Alexis can’t decide which of her sex personae she wants to project. One week she’s wiggling around in a streetwalker’s outfit hustling Simon. The next week, she’s a toned-down version of Dolly, the sadder but wiser girl. In between she sends out Lolita-like sex kitten vibes to everyone.

This week, she promised to be “dirtier” if the judges keep her on.

She lied from the very beginning saying she and her baby’s father (he is “away” “in the service”) are planning to marry soon. Oh, really? When she’s getting ready to go on a year-long tour with AI? (BTW—I haven’t seen her baby’s father in the audience.) What time will she have for her baby or her “fiance”?

She is a cheap trick trying to pass herself off as a diamond in the rough.

I get angry when anyone compares her to Dolly. That’s a sacrilege.

I have apologized for what I said to SJ. I do not see my original comments weeks ago about the opinions of others as personal attacks.

I appreciate your comments to me and await your comments to those who keep stoking the fire. There is no excuse for the behavior of FD and skateman except that they're looking for a fight. I will respond in kind.

Also, I did not report FD to the moderator because I believe such calls are a weak attempt to get rid of someone who points out what they are doing.

In my post, I was trying to put my opinion out as a starting point for a truce. But there will be no truce with people who freepmail threats and can't find it in their religious belief system to accept apologies.

If there are no more missile attacks, you won't find me starting something.

On with the show!

The Dolly part is probably over after her performance last night. She has a good powerful, soulful voice and I hope she doesn’t try to be someone else.

..............they were comments attacking the opionions of others who were posting to the thread. Again, from my perspective.

I just noticed the sitting ovation you got from one of the posters who has tried to flame me and the comment.

Are you suggesting we should not criticize the opinion of others?

>>I get angry when anyone compares her to Dolly. That’s a sacrilege.

Do we add Dolly to the list of “do not even try” artists’ list? I think “Islands in the Stream” and “9 to 5” eliminate her from that list ;)

Jolene really was a seminal number — one of the earliest crossover hits.

Speaking of which, Simon said Alexis' version was a copy of Dolly's, but it wasn't. I think Simon needs be familiar with the songs the contestants are doing.
