Don’t feel bad, RK. I broke my foot (I even heard it snap, but walked on it for 5 days before going to the Dr.) the week before Thanksgiving and still ended up hosting it and making everything. In the middle of a kitchen remodel, no less. (Do I have “sucker” tattooed on my forehead??)

I did yell at the Hubster that I “need a little help here!” a few times, and I was completely worthless the next day; my foot hurt so much. BTW, this wasn’t my idea or my hubby’s. It was my other rellies inviting themselves. For Thanksgiving. In a CONSTRUCTION ZONE. I had no countertops and used two utility tables for prep and for serving. Did I say my foot hurt? Well, so did my back.

What has Obama done to this nation!!! Sigh*!! Not only did the MSM spend so much time making out anyone that disagrees with Obama to be racially motivated in some way it has become ideological conditioning for all the media now. Obama and his sycophants in the press are turning this great nation, the last bastion of hope and freedom, into a third world cesspool of corruption and especially after he just came back from his "I Apologize and Hate America Lalapalooza Tour" of sucking up to every dictator within handshake range and sending a resounding message around the world to freedom lovers, who look to this great nation for help and guidance in their time of need in opposing tyranny and liberation from oppression, that "Hey Dictators are people too. They just happen to kill and torture you for their vision of authority control over your lives eeerrr their method of freedom for your lives." Have we become a nation that is so afraid to offend anyone that we can not point out when someone is wrong? If any other President had offered a trillion dollar stimulus plan to bail out companies the press would have been all over it pointing the obvious failures of other nations that have tried it and how it has never worked in the past when it is tried it only made things worst and that it is more about payback for votes than saving jobs. It would have be one investigative report after another on who is being bribed and were are the kickbacks are really going. But since the MSM has set it up so that this Presidency is too big to fail they over look the total incompetence of a President and his cabinet that is clueless on the economy and a President who just threw away our best tool for keeping America safe by exposing of methods of interrogation to our enemies and in is now in the process of destroying the reputations of the brave men and women who worked to keep us safe from terrorist attacks by getting the information needed to avoid them. (Way to go TOTUS!!! /SARCASM.) This in it's self would have been a scandal enough for impeachment grounds for any other administration in putting our nation at risk for more terror attacks.

I feel bad for Anoop. He did not get any goodbye time. It was all spent on pimping out Lil and making the case that they loved Lil. What? Anoop Dog didn't deserve any love? Jeeezzzzeeerrrreee!!! What kind of America are we now in when a losing contestant who is a minority on a reality program has to treated special so as not to offend anyone?

AI has done all they can to show case her talents but she did not take advantage of it and improve each week. I mean Ryan Seacrest and judges went out of there way to promote her so as not to be seen as racists. Aaarrrgggg!!! Ryan Seacrest all but looked directly straight into the camera and said “Look people, We are not Racists but the black chick got the lowest number of total votes so to adhere to the rules of the contest and to be fair to the other contestants we have to politely tell her she has to leave the show. Once again our viewing audience voted her off.”

I kept waiting for a disclaimer to start running across the middle of the screen saying “American Idol is a equal opportunity show. We are not racists. Our viewing audience did not participate enough and show enough support for Lil to continue on in this competition. We apologize to everyone for this sad turn of events.” Sorry to go off like that but for some reason this just set me off after everything that has happened this week to our nation with a Miss America contestant honestly standing for her views and being trashed by a bunch of pop culture refuse that do not have a clue about the First Amendment and thinks that it only applies to them and then with the rest of of CIA stuff etc it was just too much. It just set me off. Sorry to go all rant here on the thread.
