That’s a shame because if it’s about “singing” she’s the best of all of these clowns this year.
I just don’t get how Lil is still in this thing. She’s a horrible singer and has a nasty “welfare queen” attitude!

LOL! Probably. But he’s not in it much until the second half.
To: Miss Didi
I didn’t care for Chicago.
To: retrokitten
Oh thank God, Matt wore a hat this week.

I do commend him on his humble self during judging comment times. Ill give him applause for that virtue. That's a good point. Adam has never shown any attitude or a sense of entitlement to the judges, unlike Lil, Anoop and some others.

Well, I have to admit I was actually pleasantly surprised by tonights show. I expected a night of trainwrecks, and it was actually a very good night of mostly original performances. Albiet some not as good as others, but all were good.
My rankings
1. Kris Allen - She Works hard For the Money - Kris has a bright future as an arranger and choreographer in addition to his musical ability. This was a really cool arrangement of this Donna Summer Classic. Very impressive. Kris is truly becoming a dark horse for the finale.
2. Adam Lambert - If I cant have you - Another flawless Vocal masterclass from the hands down best singer in the competition. I liked Kris better this week, but this is truly Adams competition to lose.
3. Allison - Hot Stuff - Hot stuff indeed. Allison rocked the house with this version of another Donna Summer classic. While I thought it was awesome, i do fear that there is a contingent that already dislikes Allison as the girl they would least like Jr. to bring home from the prom, and this performance will be considered to adult for thier taste.
4. Danny Gokey - September - another great performance by Danny, but I am worried that Danny is about to go the route of Melinda Doolittle. He will be top 3 without a doubt in my opinion, but he has not stepped his game up and could get passed up for the Finale.
5. Matt Giraud - Staying Alive - OK there is a huge gap from the top 4 down to these last three. Matt did a good job vocally, and it was a fun performance, but Simon was right last week - Matt has no chance of winning and Top 5 will be his ceiling if he gets there.
6. Anoop Desai - Dim all the Lights - Anoop really has a wonderfully smooth voice, and he showcased it here, but as is the case with Matt he has hit his ceiling. He may survive to top 5 night, but I am hearing Dandy Don Merideth in the back ground, Turn out the lights, the parties over
7. Lil Rounds - Im Every Woman - That is the problem, she has been every woman. Every woman but Lil. I dont even remember the Lil Rounds from the audition any more, she disappeared and Ms. Karaoke took her place weeks ago. On a bright note, she looked smokin hot tonight.
Bottom 3 - Lil, Matt, Anoop
Going Home - LIL for sure. then a crap shoot as to whether it is Anoop or Matt.
