Looks like Anoop is about to play a round of golf.LOL!!
Why was he wearing green anyway? The Tarheels won the tournament last night--seems like the perfect day to wear Carolina Blue.

Thanks for your perspective. I am not sure whether I meet with them this weekend or the next home stand will make or break me getting the job. Although they are interested in me I know that the talent pool is very deep these days.
I made myself a promise several years ago; I was with my (ex)husband on business in St. Maarten and it was Good Friday. We were working, drinking and partying like it was any other day. I suddenly experienced such an empty feeling that I couldn't shake. It was as if God was letting me know I was putting all of the least important things ahead of him. It took me a while to rearrange my life back to what really matters most. I hesitate to compromise on this again. Besides, I can pay my bills and not be a burden to anyone for a long time. Frugal has become my middle name:)

I just did a search and they do still make it but not in the original four flavors we had growing up—cherry, lemon, lime & orange. Now they make some wild melon and peach smash.

Sheesh, theyre all playing it safe so far. I hope Idol goes back to celebrity mentors/themes next week. They've had two weeks in a row of non-theme shows and it just feels lazy.

Because he looks like he's trying to blow you up with his mind? YES!
I didn't want to sound mean, but I have to agree with whoever said he should wear sunglasses, at least when he's performing.

Overall not a very impressive night. But there were 3 standout performances, and a couple ok ones.
1. Adam Lambert - Mad World - I second simon and the standing ovation. Adam dialed it back and was absolutely brilliant. not quite a “moment”, but Adam has definately seperated himself from the rest of the field.
2. Allison Iraheta - I Can’t make You Love Me - Allison you don’t have to make us love you, we already do. Another vocal tour de force by this amazing 16 yr old. She is putting herself in position to give Adam a run.
3. Matt Giraud - Part time Lover - Nice soulful version of this Stevie Wonder hit. Matt is up and down, but this was an up week. One of his best.
4. Danny Gokey - Stand By Me - Very good, but not one of Danny’s best. This started kind of slow and a little rocky. Danny dialed it in at the end, and he is still one of my Favorites, but I can’t help but think he is this years Melinda Doolittle - great every week but at a plateau while others are improving.
5. Kris Allen - All She Wants to do is Dance - I liked the funky version Kris put together, but something was missing. I think Randy may have hit on it, the arrangement was great but the music is what made it great, and that overshadowed the singing. This might have been a case of doing to much to the song.
6. Anoop Desai - True Colors - Anoop has a great voice, and this was a nice vocal, but it was just too boring and vanilla. No snap, no pizzazz, just good singing.
7. Lil Rounds - What’s Love got to do With it - very Karaoke, and therein lies the problem with Lil. Who is she? She can sing the songs, but who is she as an artist?
8. Scott McIntyre - The Search is Over - if the search is for who needs to go home, then yes it is over. This bordered on painful.
Who should go home - Scott. Who will go home - Scott or Lil, and I think Kris and Anoop need to worry.

He did a dance last night that had me and a lot of other women running for the nearest fan. I tried to find a fan gif for you, but I'll give you a "thud" instead ;)

I don’t know why they felt the need to mess with things a few seasons ago. Everything’s been loco since Taylor Hicks won. It really must have burned Simon up. LOL
OT: are your allergies particularly bad this season? It’s been really windy here the last couple of days and the second I step outside my office, my eyes burn and tear up. I get in the car and it looks like I’ve been sobbing! I’ve also been waking up in the middle of the night with my eyes itching and burning. It seems worse then the last few years.

I didn't want to sound mean, but I have to agree with whoever said he should wear sunglasses, at least when he's performing. Someone said it a few weeks ago, too. The producers probably don't say anything for the same reason.

I had that one, too! I had, “If This Is It” on 45.
