These Quiznos commercials are so disturbing.

Are they the ones with everyone singing or is that Subway?

Have you seen the Dominos/Bail-out ad? I can't STAND it! It's like a paid ad from the DNC.

I would say I'm boycotting Dominos because of it, but I don't like their crappy pizzas anyway, LOL

But his songs are crappy now too.

They sure are. Politics aside, Wonder's song tonight was a big nothing ... which I suppose makes it a perfect fit for Obama :)

I got two of the bottom three right (few expected Matt to get that dishonor), and figured Michael would be going home. Nice guy. Authentic heterosexual man. Should have lots of fun on the tour and will have some time inbetween to spend some quality time with his children again.

The next three eliminations I could see going like this: 9) Scott 8) Megan 7) Anoop.

Stevie Wonder... sigh... he's blind... no, I'm not talking about vison blindness... he's politically blind, having been surrounded by idiots all his life poisoning his head with garbage. He wouldn't even know he was black if black folk wouldn't make an issue of it. It's a shame with somebody of his talent being so blind to reality.

This Obama worship was old after his first week in office. It has gotten so ubiquitous that I am sure we will be seeing Osama Bin Laden saying "I love Barack Obama!!" in his next terrorist infomercial video.

Wow what a way to ruin a show where is the ACLU when we need them on Separation of Church and Entertainment.

Authentic heterosexual man

It has become a sad day for pop culture when one has to describe a male entertainer as a authentic hetersexual so as to able to give them some kind of street creds with those of us that are in the hetersexual crowd. LOL.

Netizen, I’m so very sorry about your stepdad. We lost my mom suddenly also, and I agree that the suddenness just makes it that much harder. ((Hugs!))

I have watched HGTV just about nonstop since our twins were born two years ago. It’s the only way I can be sure we won’t be blindsided by some “Girls Gone Wild” ad or something! My kids are gonna be able to spackle drywall by the time they’re five. :)

Besides VFTW, Megan has another nation-wide fan base that potentially exceeds 10,000. She is a member of a group that I belong to and they refer to her often.

Michael just looked happy and greatful to be a part of Idol. I think that’s a nice attitude.

I think he's also more than ready to go home. He is satisfied with the top 10 recognition and the boost it will bring to his family, but his babies want him home and he could probably just about fly there without a plane at this point.

And now Danny will lose his prayer buddy.

Michael’s problem was that he did not even make an ATTEMPT to believe the song. That was one of Sinatra’s strengths; he always said that he would not sing a song until he BELIEVED the words and made them true for him.

Here is Sarver singing that he is not too proud to CRY and BEG and PLEAD for her to come back to him, and he’s dancing around and smiling as if to say “Here I am! Performing! Singing! I’m doing this song! Let’s have some fun!”

Cheesy with a capital Cheez.

I couldn’t stand Adam last week. One of you FReepers said it best; Johnny Cash was CLAWING at his casket.

I was prepared for more Rocky Horror Picture Show goes Motown.

But he realized, when he went from one of the front-runners to the bottom three, that America does NOT want their idol to be a trashy camp showboy. He was forced to butch it up and appeal to us.

He did. He turned off the David Bowie flamboyance and put all of his energies into believing the lyrics and really giving his all to the song.

It was excellent. Can he keep it up? Who knows. What means more to him? Staying glam-emo? Or using his talents for good in the world?

Adam: Hey Scott, you know those black leather pants I gave you? They're really pink corduroys. Have a great show!

Am I allowed to be ROFL at this?? :)

Very interesting commentary. You always think you’d like to be there in person, but you made it sound like we could probably hear the singers better in our living rooms. I don’t think Jennifer Hudson made it onto the actual show.

Berry Gordy and Jimmy Carter were sixth cousins to Elvis Presley.

i think everyones a bit harsh.

I agree. I don't get the Lil hatred. She's pretty good as a singer; she just can't pick the perfect songs. She was a bit in awe of the trip to Motown so she made a blunder of deciding to do a "tribute" -- which she did not need to do.

Smokey looked like an old man who had just taken Viagra and was starting to feel its effects. His stares were spooky.

LOL! I was afraid he was going to lean so far into her that he would topple on top of her and break his hip.
