My top 3 tonight was Adam, Allison, and Kris.

My bottom three is Megan, Michael, and Scott.

It will be interesting to see how American votes.

What a fantastic night. I love all the songs the contestants chose to sing, and to see Barry gordy and Smokey both looking fit and healthy was awesome.

1A. Allison Iraheta - Papa Was A Rolling Stone - Where does that voice come from. Kara was right, it is truly a gift from God, and Allison is doing wonderful things with that gift.

1B. Adam Lambert - Tracks of my tears - An absolute fantastic interpretation of an alltime classic. I really loved this. Absolute perfection.

3. Danny Gokey - Get Ready - great job again by Danny.. he is this season mr. Consistency!

4. Anoop Desai - Ohh baby baby - The sweet soulful sounds of Anoop-Dawg keeping you company all night on WFOX... Good job, not on the level of the top 3, but very good.

5. Matt Giraud - Let’s get It On - Marvin would be applauding this interpretation of his signature song. I think Matt got a lot of fans tonight.

6. Kris Allen - How Sweet it Is - Loved his take on this. A cool rockabilly feel to a motown Classic. Excellent job.

and then the bottom fell out........
7. Michael Sarver - Ain’t to Proud To beg - Karaoke yes. Will Micheal win? No, Simon was correct. Still, not as bad as the judges savaged him.

8. Lil Rounds - Heatwave - Totally the wrong song choice. very Karaoke, and way to fast and big for Lil. Randy was dead on in his advice - long phrasing and power notes, those are the songs she needs to choose.

9. Scott McIntyre - You Can’t Hurry Love - Good, great piano playing, but just not up to the level of the rest of the competition. nice guy, ok singer, great piano Player, but not the American idol

10. Megan Joy - For Once In My Life - A total trainwreck. I love Megan’s voice, I love her quirkyness, and I love her phrasing and interpretations of songs; but this week she totally blew it. Not good, not good at all.

Bottom 3 - Michael, Scott and Megan — I know I put Lil 8th, but lets be real no way she is bottom 3 with her fan base.

Should go Home Based on this week - Megan. That was a total disaster.

Will go home - Michael. Scott and Megan have enough of a fan base to save them. No way the judges use thier save for any of those 3.

I’ve never liked Adam, until tonight. But I’ll probably hate him again next week! No way he can be that normal more that once in a while.

Agree on Adam and Allison...they will probably be the last two standing.

I fell asleep during Shep’s 7 o’clock report, and didn’t wake up until 8:20. I missed Kris and Matt. Then Scott came on and I fell asleep again.

I liked the way Smokey dealt with the kids. He was very kind and encouraging.

Adam is very handsome when not hiding behind a crazy hairdo. Kind of Burt Reynolds-ish.(In Burt’s very early days, on Gunsmoke.) He’s a pro at the singing,too.

Michael is the same all the time. He better be ready to go back on the rig.

Danny is very ordinary. Nice guy, but not very exciting.

Anoop surprised me with his crooner voice. Very nice.

Corky was weird, off-key, offbeat, and terrible. She’ll be going home.

Lil was pretty good as a Vandella or whatever she was in that wig and fringey dress.

Allison—WOW!!! I finally woke up completely when she sang. As Kara said, that voice is from God. All the money in the world can’t buy that kind of talent.
