I agree with you there. I was not even paying attention to Adam until he did “Satifaction” and “Black n White” and his vocals blew me away. Up till then I was digging Matt, Allison, Alexis, and Danny then BLAM Adam showed up.

The one thing about Adam is he does not play it safe. He comes out and swings for the fences everytime. I hate the gay crap but the dude’s got talent. His voice is a producer’s dream because they can go in studio and cut like 20-25 different types of tracks and put 12-16 solid hit songs that will climb the charts on one cd with a voice like that.

I think retrokitten had it right when she pointed out that Adam's dark persona plays into the current Twilight craze among tweens and younger teens. I'll bet the AI PTB hope to tap into that craze before it gives way to the next fad.

Good to hear he took it so well. Michael had that soul vibe going from the beginning. He should have done “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay”, “Papa was a Rolling Stone”(Allison really knocked that outta the park with her performance of it) or something in that vein and really brought it to the stage. This was his week to shine and he missed it.

Allison hit a grand slam tonight. I was disappointed that Simon and Paula acted like children during Allison’s huge comeback moment. But, Allison played it like a pro.

In that she’s an old looking 16 year old...yeah, she’s had a rough life, but she’s stronger than what’s behind her.
