Check out Sophia, also the picture behind her. Do you see a resemblance to Kara?

It reminds me of that commercial with the kids at the special olympics who cross the finish line together. link
I didn't know what The Foundation for a Better Life was, so I googled it (just to make sure I wasn't linking commercials for crackpots). Interesting stuff.
The Foundation is officially funded by a single donor family, and neither solicits nor accepts monetary donations from the public. It is not affiliated with any religion, rather hoping that "the values we share transcend any particular religion or nationality" [2]. The donor is Philip Anschutz,[3] a billionaire American businessman whose fortune derives from oil, land, railroads, telecommunications, and entertainment businesses[4]. Anschutz is a conservative Christian.
Thanks for that, Netizen!
I saw Taylor in “Grease” last weekend. He was very funny, sounded great and the crowd loved him. Met him after the show. It’s interesting, he’s such a wild man onstage, but one on one, he’s very soft-spoken, calm, and shy.
He has said in interviews that he will definitely be on AI this season, so...we’ll see.
Heh! I watched a couple of old episodes of the Andy Griffith show. I guess with President Teleprompter bloviating on TV again, I was longing for the good old days of Mayberry RFD.
One episode was about a young guy who couldn’t pay his bills, and had his car re-possessed! Imagine that—no bailout!!
I used to go the Special Olympics and take mentally challenged people out and about. It's really sad to see how some are treated when they say 'Hello' to strangers. All they want is to be treated like other people. I've seen people turn away completely from them when addressed and walk away of addressed a second time. Some people are pathetic.
I took some to a 3D movie. If you could have seen their faces! They talked about it for months. Sometimes, its just the smallest things that make them the happiest.

Probably during the finale like they did that one year, where they didn't even introduce him or talk to him. Remember that? I would love for AI to treat him like they treat other winners and runner ups and heck, treat him as decent as they treat others period.
American Idol 8: Jennifer Hudson To Return, But Could Simon Cowell Bring In The President?
http://www.buddytv.com/articles/american-idol/american-idol-8-jennifer-hudso-27219.aspx
This week’s American Idol only starts tonight, thanks to Fox covering yet another press conference President Obama has called. It’s been the second time this year, and while I understand the need for the media to cover what the government is saying, with all the economic issues and everything else, I find it slightly funny that the show’s been slightly derailed by these press conferences.
And it’s somewhat funnier to hear that show judge Simon Cowell hopes to have the president himself appear on an episode of Idol. We’re trying to get him to do a show at the moment, he said in a phone interview with a British radio station. I did get a name check from him tonight. He was on The Tonight Show talking about how everyone in Washington is a critic and then he said: Unfortunately they’re all like Simon Cowell.’ I’m not sure if it’s a compliment or not. (You can hear the full interview by clicking here.
after the article there is a poll
Would you watch American Idol with Barack Obama as guest?
Sure. It’d be fun to see him there
I’d watch it for something else
No way. What will he do there, sing?
American Idol: Is The Save Rule Really A Put Down?
http://www.realitytvmagazine.com/blog/2009/03/24/american-idol-is-the-save-rule-really-a-put-down/
This season on American Idol, the producers have introduced two major changes. Not only did the contestants have to sing for their lives in weekly sing-offs, but now the show has introduced the judges rule. As the weeks pass and the judges opt out of using the rule to save the singers, it made us wonder if the judges save is just another way to put the contestants down instead of serving the purpose for which they say it was intended.
Simon Cowell explained that the judges save was meant to keep American Idol contestants on that show that would otherwise make an early exit due to poor viewers votes, but it seems more like a ploy to bring in more viewers to watch the show each week to see if the poor eliminated soul would indeed be saved by the judges or would be subjected to the humiliation of not being worthy enough to survive.
I think the only purpose of the judges save is to create drama, Chris Sligh told USA Today. He was an early favorite in American Idols Season 6 and would have ended up finishing 10th. From a TV perspective, it makes the show better, but it really seemed like Alexis thought she had a chance. That part of it is a little cruel.
Chris Sigh added, At the same time, you put yourself in a position when you go on American Idol that they have the right to be cruel to you on the off chance that you can make a career.
The idea of the save, is to give a deserving contestant another chance, and allows the four judges a one-time opportunity to change the viewers votes and keep a singer on an extra week. Even if the judges never use that option which they cant after the field narrows to five, the rule adds to the humiliation of those who essentially get eliminated twice, first by the audience, then by the judges.
Fox reality chief Mike Darnell says the save makes the results show more aggressive. The morning after Alexis Graces elimination, he told American Idol host Ryan Seacrests syndicated radio show that its creating an enormously raw moment, better than we imagined.
Season 7 fifth place finalist, Brooke White doesnt know how well she could have held herself together if shed had to sing for a save. It wouldve been very difficult for me to pull off a poised performance, Brooke White said. Getting voted off is hard enough, Brooke White says, and to throw that on top of it is both awesome and totally
I'd set my DVR as always, and FF right over the One.
Too bad that wasn’t one of the options! lol
Oh, I see. That guy is quite the under achiever, huh? LOL
For cryin’ out loud! Will he EVER stop his attention whoring??? We watch AI to get away from him!
Exactly! I'd be tempted to not watch at all if he were going to be on.
Not sure if I'll be around tonight. My step dad is in the hospital and my sister just called a few minutes ago, and they are not sure if he will make it through the night. O don't know if I can handle this. I'm still reeling from my mom passing just over a year ago and this is like losing her all over again. :(
So, if anyone is so inclined, maybe say a little prayer for him. His name is Dave.
HERE HERE!!! Well said my FRiend!
Sending prayers.
