Yes, you’re correct I do play in a band. I’m what they like to call a “Sloppy Time Keeper” Hey, if you want accuracy look at a friggin’ swiss precision watch, I tell ‘em! If Keith Moon couldn’t do it, so can’t I, However, Moonie was a loonie I can try to at least hold some semblance of rhythm. ;-)

Today on another thread I saw a poster use the expression "enough said". But what caught my eye was that persons tagline, which said something relating to Obama's missing birth certificate. And of course we all know that our own beloved nufsed has a tagline referring to zero's missing birth certificate. Coincidence?

I can't remember the poster's name, only that it started with the letter c.

Kris is on Huckabee right now...Huck was talking about Kris being the pride of Arkansas and how Huck lost. And Kris said—yeah, but you know we were for you!

Sorry, thought you had posted about being in a band. I just wasn’t going to go back through 1,000’s of posts to find the person. Maybe StrictTime. Is there someone that posts by that name?

Hello, I'm StrictTime. But no, I'm not currently in a band. I did play the flute, oboe and alto sax in high school, though. ; )

Susan Boyle Melts Down After Taunting
‘Britain’s Got Talent’ singer is showing further strain of instant fame.

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1612339/20090528/story.jhtml

Perhaps not surprisingly, it appears as if the 48-year-old Scottish singer is beginning to show the effects of that pressure. On Wednesday night, Boyle reportedly lashed out at two reporters who were harassing her at the Wembley Plaza Hotel in London.

According to English tabloid The Sun, when the two men approached Boyle in the lobby and had words with her, she yelled, “How f-—ing dare you! You can’t f-—ing talk to me like that!” It is not known what the men said to Boyle.

A spokesperson for the show told the The Associated Press that, “Two journalists were harassing her and pushed [Boyle] over the edge. She was left slightly distressed and the journalists were removed from the building by police.”

Police then reportedly spent 15 minutes calming her down before she stormed out of the hotel. While talking to police outside the hotel, she then reportedly responded, “Of course there’s a f-—ing problem,” when police asked if there was an issue with the men.

One of the officers then reportedly told her, “You are in the public eye, you must learn to expect this sort of thing.” The singer also is alleged to have flown into another rage the night before while watching Morgan and fellow judge Simon Cowell lavish praise on fellow finalist Shaheen Jafargholi during a re-broadcast of the show.

Watching on the hotel’s bar TV with some of Jafargholi’s friends, family and fans, she is said to have yelled “F-— off!” before making an obscene hand gesture and storming out of the bar.

Susan Boyle Reportedly Hospitalized
‘Britain’s Got Talent’ runner-up was reportedly admitted to a clinic following Saturday night’s finale.

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1612975/20090531/story.jhtml

The British tabloid the Daily Mail reported on Sunday (May 31) that Boyle was admitted to the Priory Clinic — a mental-health hospital — after suffering from exhaustion in the wake of her second place finish on the show. The newspaper claimed that police were summoned to the singer’s hotel and she was assessed under the Mental Health Act following what was described as a breakdown after her surprise second place finish behind dance troupe Diversity.

BBC News reported Sunday that Scotland Yard said that police were called to a London hotel on Sunday, with doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act. That woman was taken voluntarily by ambulance to a clinic, they said, according to the report. At the request of doctors, police accompanied the ambulance.

The Priory Clinic told the BBC: “We can neither confirm nor deny the reports.”

“BGT” judge and Boyle advocate Piers Morgan said a runner-up finish was probably the best thing that could have happened to Boyle, given the intense strain of going from complete anonymity to world fame in just six weeks, saying a win would have “just carried on the mayhem” for the 48-year-old Scottish woman.

According to the Mail, on Sunday, show aides called police to say Boyle was “acting strangely” in her London hotel room and rival tabloid The Sun added that paramedics were called to help the “spaced out” star through the lobby and into a waiting ambulance around 6 p.m.; she is reported to have gone voluntarily. Show producers reportedly said Boyle was “exhausted and emotionally drained.”

“Following Saturday night’s show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained. She has been seen by her private GP who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery,” read a statement from one of the show’s producers.

In a way I’m not surprised, after seeing her response to Simon’s apologizing for the judges rude treatment of her at her first audition. The way she responded indicated to me that she was possibly arrogant as to her talent. And knew more about her talent than she had initially let on. IMHO, that is....
