Bristol Palin Denies 'White Trash' Claim In Split With Fiancé Levi Johnston (MSM Barf)

Sarah Palins teenage daughter angrily denounced reports today that she was to blame for breaking up with the father of her two-month-old son.
Bristol Palin, the daughter of last years controversial Republican vice-presidential candidate, responded after it emerged that she and her fiancé, Levi Johnston, had split up.
The story first emerged in the tabloid Star magazine, which quoted Mr Johnstons sister Mercedes saying that Ms Palin and her mother were to blame for the break-up. The couple had been due to marry this summer.
Levi tries to see Tripp every single day, but Bristol makes it nearly impossible, Mercedes Johnston is quoted as saying.
She tells him he cant take the baby to our house because she doesnt want him around white trash. The worst part, Ms Johnston tells the magazine, is that Governor Palin supports her daughters treatment of Mr Johnston.
Ms Palin said in a statement issued through her mothers political action committee that she was devastated by the report in Star. Unfortunately, my family has seen many people say and do things to cash in on the Palin name. Sometimes that greed clouds good judgment and the truth.

Have you noticed how quickly the ‘I’m not sure about her’ tone has changed ans escalated to more personal attacks against Sarah? Hmmm...

I can accept there are people who don’t like Palin. Such is life. But its real easy to tell who the posers are simply by how quickly their ‘reasoned’ arguments turn into personal attacks.

Imagine this scenario: plant troll comes onto FR Sarah Palin threads, slams older mothers, calls Bristol a tramp and then, the post is used as an 'example' for a news story that 'even conservatives are sick of Palin, don't support her', etc. Entirely plausible. And highly likely. Very plausible. Palin has a lot of enemies in her own party up in Alaska and in Washington. It's no secret that political staffers and those with personal interests post here to back their candidates and slam their enemies. The 2012 jockeying for position is starting already.
If Palin is smart, she'll be worrying about 2010 right now. Pols who run for VP or President are big targets the next election. The dems or Murkowski wing of the GOP is going to attack her for "going national" and forgetting where she came from.
To: spectre
They didn't "find themselves" in this situation. That's the whole point. That's the very definition of Liberal 'excusism.'
"It's not my fault." "It just happened to me."
Sarah Palin chose to be a professional woman with a very demanding career. Bristol Palin chose to engage in risky sexual behavior. You cannot be a Conservative and excuse the behavior. You can empathize with their situation...but while you are, don't forget about the poor unfortunate child who will have to live with the consequences of being raised without a father. The child is the real victim here.

Yep. In Alaska, it won’t be liberals who take her down. It will be the very republicans she ousted from office. The liberals will just sit back and watch (and fund of course).

Another ad hominem attack. Your posts on this thread are nothing but "ad hominem" attacks. And I'll add - you're a sanctimonious bore.

AND then, after the "personal attack" have the gall to insinuate we are the ones attacking. Go figure.
Can you imagine if the Rats had taken Obama's family down this way? We don't even know where the guy was born for sure and they could care less.
We have some very weird characters in the GOP who would excommunicate a candidate if they didn't pass a litmus smell test.

No. I prefer to think of myself as a slut, but I do aspire to be more...why? Are you trolling?

Yep. It isn't going to be easy growing up knowing people like you have branded his Mother with a Scarlet letter.
I'll wager your family hides a lot from you. Ever ask yourself "why"?

This post of yours is a classic example of several points of view that show poor judgment. I’m glad a few FReepers have come on to let you know that.

The sign of the times: Sarah Palin virtually tells the world she’s going national and all people want to talk about is her daughter’s breakup with her boyfriend.

There are many children raised without a father and turn out just fine.
And there are many, many more who don't.
Per Ann Coulter's "Second Hand Children." Children of unwed mothers:
- have a 50 percent greater chance of growing up in poverty
- single motherhood costs taxpayers about $112 billion every year
- a causal relationship exists to criminal behavior, substance abuse, juvenile delinquency, sexual victimization and almost every other social disorder
- single motherhood accounts for the entire difference in black and white crime rates.
It is not the social stigma of growing up illegitimate that causes them problems, it is the absence of two loving caring parents. Again, most Conservatives know these things.
Another
ad hominem attack. You really are limited aren't you. Just like a Liberal, you attack the person rather than the message because you lack any real argument. You just hate.

Like most of your ilk, you lose the argument on facts so you are reduced to attacking the person...thus making an ass of yourself in front of the entire world. Are you aware of the irony in that comment?

What “facts and actions”? Bristol’s pregnancy? How is that Sarah’s fault? A parent tries to teach his/her child what he/she believes in to the best of their abilities and hopes and prays the kid follows them. Teenagers have a reputation for being rebellious, and with good reason. Yes, Bristol was foolish in not wating to have sex, but how was that Sarah’s fault? After all, Bristol was 17 years old, if I’m not mistaken.
