Time will say nothing but I told you so, Time only knows the price we have to pay; If I could tell you I would let you know.
If we should weep when clowns put on their show, If we should stumble when musicians play, Time will say nothing but I told you so.
There are no fortunes to be told, although, Because I love you more than I can say, If I could tell you I would let you know.
The winds must come from somewhere when they blow, There must be reasons why the leaves decay; Time will say nothing but I told you so.
Perhaps the roses really want to grow, The vision seriously intends to stay; If I could tell you I would let you know.
Suppose all the lions get up and go, And all the brooks and soldiers run away; Will Time say nothing but I told you so? If I could tell you I would let you know.
W.H. Auden

Just started a new project today - I don’t have internet access at my desk so I’ll be kind of scarce around here. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

You know, I’m a lurker most of the time - but just because I don’t post a lot, doesn’t mean I don’t take into my heart some of the touching things that are posted here on this thread. I could sense the anticipation, and then the happiness from Rus’ daughter’s visit.
I looked everywhere, and couldn’t find the right words that he might be feeling. So, I just wrote what I imagined were his thoughts, and would be mine, if I were experiencing the same ‘reunion’.
Prayerful thoughts for all..........

New projects are so exciting! We’ll miss you, but you’ll catch up, and post some more beautiful graphics and music.
Good luck on your project, Conor, and happy Monday!
To: Lady Jag
Thank you for the thought provoking poem, LJ! And, your graphic is PERFECT for the words of W.H. Auden!
To: yorkie
You wrote that poem, yorkie? It is truly wonderful! Thanks again.

That’s the kind of mood I’m in, caused by an introspecitve day of wind, rain, sleet, ice, and snow.

It's days like today that set the stage for circumspection.
It was a dark and stormy day . . .

Good morning/afternoon, Jaycee. Happy Monday.
Spring has arrived in cental California.
The fruit trees are in full bloom.
Daffodils (except mine) are showing their yellow heads.
Hope you are having a warm Spring day.
To: Lady Jag

Its awfully nice here today but I couldn’t go outside to do anything ‘cause I had too much in here to do today! Don’t get me wrong, we will have more bad weather....this couple of days are teasers!

I actually like it here in MA. I've traveled on the ground and spent time in 26 states and believe it would be best to be able to have four homes in different states.
Most of all I'm wicked heat sensitive and drs. check regularly but can't say why I'm uncomfortable when it his the mid 70s.

WALKING WITH GRANDPA
I like to walk with Grandpa,
His steps are short like mine.
He doesn't say “Now Hurry Up,”
He always takes his time.
I like to walk with Grandpa,
His eyes see thing like mine do -
Wee pebbles bright, a funny cloud,
Half hidden drops of dew.
Most people have to hurry,
They don't stop and see.
I'm glad that God made Grandpa,
Unrushed, and young like me.
