"Frakin' McCain. He could have fought harder. Now I got 4 more years of this happy horseshit"
pssssst ''chelle, here's a clue, Ladies keep their knees together... but then, you're no lady.

"chelle, cross your legs at the ankles.
He took poor kids in Harlem, kids considered losers and dumb, fought the school all the way, and these kids excelled above the so-called smart kids. The feeling was these kids were screw-ups and not worthy of spending time on when the other kids who sat there each day and didn't cause trouble were easier to shuttle through the system. Clark specifically asked for the screw up kids and proved no one is hopeless.
I have heard of Clark ... will have to look into it further. We as a country just can’t be writing kids off, continuing the illegitimacy, the drugs, the hopelessness that seems epidemic in our inner cities. And not insignificant in our suburbs. It’s as if we’ve lost all the old traditional values that keep a society and civilization together. But self-esteem is way up ;)
I ended up being impressed that the movie actually was very close to what he actually accomplished... he has since left Harlem and started a charter academy in Georgia for underprivilged kids.. Oprah (I know) even gave him a large donation for the school not long ago. There is a teacher is a poor section of Southern California who is very similar to Clark and got the same results... too bad the teachers unions stop most innovation in education, and that was so clear in that forum I watched on cSpan... I had just been reading on Clark when I saw this forum so was fascinated to listen to these people.
"George Bush made it look so easy staying composed while reading to kids during a crisis. I dont know how he did it."
LOL!
First Family of Corruption; America’s Disgrace!!!
"What's 2 + 2? I don't know. Ask your teacher."
Did he read them the book about the goat?
Or did the kids tell him about the mean ol ants who refused to share their wealth with the lazy grasshopper?
I look at these two and the word “pretenders” comes to mind. I just can’t get my head around the fact that those two are actually in the White House.
"Everyone who wants to leave the room to go to the bathroom raise your hands."

Funny...I assumed that exact position around 5:30 this morning....but I sure as hell wasn't wearing a suit and tie.
"I screwed up."
Is it just us, or did Mrs. O again perfectly dress for the occasion? Wearing a black knee length skirt with ruching detail (were sensing a new Mrs. O inspired trend), paired with a fabulous high neck black and white stripe blouse and black cardigan, Mrs. O achieved an interesting mix of texture and pattern. With a pair of gold hoop earrings and a black patent leather belt in the mix, we couldnt help but think our First Lady might also have passed as a style savvy school teacher. We love that Mrs. O seems to always exhibit an awareness of her setting, and unerringly adjusts her style to suit.
Who thinks that closing Gitmo is a good idea?
Who wants to water board the First Lady?
