I’m not opposed to modesty, but there is nothing wrong with a woman wearing a shorter skirt/dress if she has the legs for it if she is with her husband or boyfriend. The length would vary depending on the situation. A slightly longer than finger tip length would be O.K. for a cocktail party if the woman has good to great legs. I think a woman should empasize just one party of her body at a time. IOW, a short skirt/dress should not be combined with very much cleavage.

This looks like something I didn’t like wearing back in 1961! My mother bought it for me because she liked it and I was so embarrassed and self-conscious I could only wore it about three times and then kind of lost it in my closet.
