I posted four pictures of the snow in my yard - and luv took one, framed it, and ‘made’ falling snowflakes on it. IMO, it was brilliant, but then, Billie, Just Amy, Mama_Bear, Kitty Mittens, Lady Jag, Gee Bee, Dolly Cali and Jaycee (plus MANY I have missed, here) do things that I could never come close to! I’m lucky to do HTML on titles and pictures.

HERE: #1767 is that post. :)

Yorkie, the falling snow on top of a snowy scene is all a matter of knowing how to post "tables", and I've tried to help teach others what I know about it. Trust me, HTML was as foreign a language to me as Greek or anything besides English and Pig Latin, and I learned it! If you truly want to learn to do things like add falling snow to your pictures, it takes practice and time for it to sink in, but it will! Just FYI, BELOW is the HTML coding that Luv used for your picture.

For the snow to be ON TOP OF your backyard picture, your picture has to be posted as a "table" instead of an "image", and the width and height must be specified as well. The 'snow' also has to have a transparent background and you also post it as a "table" instead of an "image" and you should give it either the same width and height dimensions as the picture you want it to be on top of - or a little smaller. Either will work, but you HAVE to give it approx size of the image or it will otherwise be only the physical size of the snow gif itself. Sorry if I'm confusing you. :( It does eventually begin to make sense. :)

<TABLE height=400 width=500 background=http://i42.tinypic.com/235kpu.jpg>
<TBODY><TR><TD>
<TABLE height=395 width=495 background=http://d21c.com/billie/backgrounds/AniSnownitetransparentbg.gif>
<TBODY><TR><TD>
<TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

You are a fabulous teacher, Billie. You have a way of explaining complicated html coding so that it is understandable for beginners. I know that I am only one of many here who have benefited from your teaching. You are doubly talented; you can do it and you can teach it. :-)

Happy TGIF, everyone.
Even on Love Week Friday, Laura Bush supports our troops by wearing red.

Billie, Thank you for Posting those Codes; I've Always Wondered how you and our other FRiends had that Falling Snow on your Pics, but Never Asked how it was Done; I Once Saved a 'Falling Snow' Background Gif somewhere in my Photobucket Folders, in Case I ever Learned how to Add it to Pics; Thank you!!

I agree! I owe everything to Billie's wonderful table threads and help.

Oh, Billie, I've been Failing with my Efforts to Put Snow over my Pics. :( Here is the Original Pic:

No Matter which Pic I Try, it Keeps Doing Weird Things, Like this:

Can you Tell me what I'm Doing Wrong? I Know it's probably as Plain as the Nose on my Face, but I can't Figure it Out. :(

It truly IS easy when you practice a lot, Yorkie.

Trust me...Billie taught me and many others, and if I can do
it I KNOW someone as smart as yourself can do it!

It’s truly fun to learn all this new stuff!

I am glad you liked my snowfall on your picture. Yorkie! :D

Thank you Billie. (Now, thankin’ you doesn’t necessarily mean I will be able to do it, but it DOES give me a chance to ‘play’ with it, when I get some time. Sweet of you to share this ‘Einstein’ knowledge. (grin)
